I'm going to blend a ton of games and say Half Life. The game itself is great, but the un-ending sessions of Counter Strike and TFC that I used to have are hard to forget. I still fire up TFC every now and then, and it is easily as fun and any new game. Lesser freebies included with half life I would say are Day of Defeat (when I started I was already a grizzled BF1942 vet so its hard to tell) and the They Hunger series, great SP narrative.

Same scenario, I'm white, upper-middle class, living in seattle suburbs. I like a lot of Dr. Dre, NWA, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, Rn-DMC, that kind of stuff. I like rap other than old school, but I don't wear baggy-ass clothes or use street lingo. To be honest, Deep Cover has to be my favorite Dre song, followed by California Love. The thing I hate most is when people hate rap just because they don't fit with its image or because they like other music. I love rock, and I play the guitar, but that doesn't condemn me to one genre of music, does it?

You should see if Blockbuster is still doing that summer gaming deal where you pay $50 and get free game rentals one at a time all summer. It was either them or hollywood doing it last summer and the summer before that. That is about the $25 per month you would pay for gamefly, and you get a new game every time you go to the store.

I guarantee 50%+ of the broken votes are Wii/PS3 owners who are just so sure that their 360 would break down if they were lame enough to have one. I didn't even vote because I am going on 7 months with a working 360 and the poll didn't catch my attention.

Two totally different games, not comparable in any way, both worth owning. Please make your own decision.ColoradoKindBud

I'm not asking you to compare and contrast the games on points like graphics and gameplay. Just tell me which one you enjoyed more. I am hoping to find people who have actually played the Darkness mostly.

Just yesterday I went over to my friends house. He just bought guitar hero and we played for a while. It is a lot of fun, and I was sure I wanted it until I realized the darkness just came out. I realize GH is $30 more, but they both appeal to me. Anyone want to share their opinion here?

Crackdown itself goes by very fast. Unless it gets a price drop, $60 for it is too much now that the beta is over. I haven't played the Darkness, but the GS review made it sound great, so it's up to you. I didn't see a demo this morning either.

Same. You aren't from the Northshore School District are you?

Ah, you're from Northshore? My mom works for that school district. I'm in Lake Washington School District.

That's tight. I go to Woodinville. Did your power go out too?

EDIT: Do you actually go to lake washington? Do you know a kid with the last name Hollenbeck? His brother goes to my school. That would be weird, but I guess its a small world.

[QUOTE="BuddyAces"]

OK, so I just got back from work and I had some McDonalds with me; I was also home alone mind you. As I was eating my food, the lights in the dining room started flickering and at the same time, I heard footsteps coming from downstairs. So naturally, I was obviously a little concerned about what was happening. So I grabbed my hunting rifle from the upstairs office, loaded it, and headed downstairs.

Here's where it gets creepy, I checked all the rooms upstairs and downstairs and found nothing. I checked the home alarm system and it was still armed; all the windows were fine and no door was unlocked.

Man, I've been a believer in the paranormal but this is crazy!

SlickAndJick

lmao

Insightful

And Apollo5000, Ninjas>Pirates>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Superman. Jack Bauer could work in a pinch, I guess.
