What am I, PSP Jesus? :) I suggest contacting Sony Edit: Even out of warranty, there may be service options that are cheaper than buying a new onexaos

I have contacted sony and they will send me a new one for $90. I have considered it, but you never know the technical level of the other people posting on here. I know its grasping at straws but there might be someone out there who knows.

[QUOTE="PikaPichu"]After having watched several football games on 720p/1080i, I have to say that - in my opinion - 720p offers better picture quality. It just seems a little more clearer and does better at showing off subtle details.Kizzle28

that is like saying the wiis resolution is clearer than the 360s... 1080i... is higher than 720p in resolution... therefore it is clearer.

Not exactly. 1080i means interlaced. The lines on the screen show the odd lines first, then the even lines. With 720p, it is progressive, meaning the lines show up all at once. For most purposes, it is much better. Yes, 1080i does have more lines on the screen, but the progressive nature of 720p negates that fact. In truth, 1080i and 720p are virtually the same. The difference comes in is what native resolution your TV supports. If the native resolution is 1080i, then sure. But chances are his TV is natively 720p. In that case, he should stick with 720p.

I know my TV is native 720p and it definitely looks better to leave it at 720p.

My PSP is not showing any lights at all when it is plugged into the power. I have tried using a different adapter and I have tried the adapter with the battery pack taken out. I do not do homebrew and have not ever tried to downgrade my firmware so it isn't something I downloaded or installed on it. The PSP is no longer under warranty and I can't afford to replace it so I'm perfectly ok opening it up and trying different things. It can't get any more broken than it is now.

I just bought a new surround sound system the other day and the receiver has an input for the Digital Optical Audio which i know you can use with the 360. I was thinking about going and buying the cables because as of right now i just have the 360 hooked up to my receiver via the Red and White cables. I'm just curious, for those of you that have used both for the audio, can you actually hear a difference in quality between the Digital Audio and the Analog?the05birdman

- YES! You will hear the difference. Honestly your Home audio system is going to waste without the optical cable.

[QUOTE="DarkArgonanth"]Bioshock used them properly so you didn't figure out the story by looking at your achievement list. All of the secret ones were killing the characters in the story or doing something in the story.gp19

Exactly! and it's not the dev. fault if the achievements are on the internet and you happen to look at them, they are doing the best to keep the storyline a secret, other than that, it's up to you not to look for them

Bioshock is fine, but other games like Hitman, COD 3, Forza 2, Splinter Cell Double Agent... had pretty pointless secret achievements that had nothing to do with the storyline. I do agree with you that Bioshock handled them well, but that is an exception to what I've seen so far.

Lost Planet really annoyed me with its secret achievements. When people compare games to me they see I have more achievements, but have no idea what I actually did.

There does need to be a list. I always check the new and upcoming games on Xbox.com. I play Bomberman Live and Uno that use it. There is also a free game you can download called TotemBall. Spyglass Games uses the Camera. As far as non-arcade games I only know of Rainbow Six Vegas and Tiger Woods 08. There are porbably more, but I can't think of any.

I honestly can't wait to get my hands on a copy of Eternal Sonota. I loved the demo, although it was a little easy.

Seems like the 360 is trying to make up for lost RPG time but what it seems to forget is...people got plenty of better RPG's on the PS2 last gen. They want something new..not just more of the same.

Bread_or_Decide

I agree. There needs to be an RPG that is distincly 360. As much as Blue Dragon was hyped, it doesn't do much that wasn't already done on the PS2 and even the PS1. I really do want to get the game, but I know I'm in the minority of people who still love the cliassic RPG style.

I play oblivion. I actually just borrowed a copy from one of my brother's friend. I really like it and plan to unlock all of the achievements before I quit playing it. I've got a pretty good start on it.

I've never played Dead Rising, but eventually I might. I might pick it up used when I find it for real cheap.
