If you have a decent PC, then the 360 would probably be the way to go since Microsoft is constantly adding features to make your PC and 360 a sort of media network. You can do lots of cool stuff with the two networked together (play HD content from your PC to your 360 and display it on your HDTV, show all kinds of media via the network, stream videos, etc.). With some games in the future being playable cross-platform, you could even choose to play a game on your PC through your Xbox Live account. Like in Shadowrun -- if you prefer the keyboard/mouse scheme, buy the Vista version and play it on your PC with your Live account.

The only reason to maybe get PS3 would be that it would open up a different library of games that wouldn't be on PC or 360. The exclusive ones are usually more Japanes influenced or arcadey, though, so this might not appeal to you. Plus the PS3 line-up just isn't as diverse as the 360's.

Bomberman Act Zero.....it will help you realize the world is not perfect..........

Oblivion
Gears
Forza 2
GungraveZero

Yup he's got them right there. Although, out of the two shooters Gears of War and Rainbow Six: Vegas, I've actually spent more time with RS:V. Gears is more technically impressive though. You might want to get Dirt instead of Forza if you prefer faster paced / wilder racing games. Forza is a great simulator but it can feel kinda boring if you've played crazier racing titles like Burnout.

The Blu-ray movie will just show at the standard definition resolution (480i) -- it will not look any better than a DVD. You need an HDTV for that.

I have one and I love it. I don't have much of a collection of HD-DVD's -- I just rent them (I've heard I may be getting Planet Earth for Father's Day -- *crossing fingers*). The difference is quite impressive on a good TV. My Sony LCD TV is 42" -- some people say it's not really worth it to have HD-DVD unless you go bigger than that, but even on a 42", the colours are so vibrant and the details are very impressive. The contrast is much better than DVD. I've tested the difference with combo discs that have HD on one side and standard def on the other -- the HD is 10 times better. If you're into movies, it's a worthwhile purchase -- try to find a deal like the King Kong bundles with the remote -- that's pretty good value for 200 bucks.

It's definitely faster and more stable through cables than it is wireless. Wireless can only at most hit the same speed as a cabled connection in optimum conditions with absolutely no interference (ie. cordless phones, microwaves, etc.). So yeah cable is the way to go if the cable itself is not a problem.

Fantastic multiplayer. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best console multiplayer available.

The only people that will tell you that HDTV isn't worth it are people who don't have one and are in denial about how much better it is.  But trust me, when you see your games on an HD screen, you'll appreciate it.  Totally worth it -- especially now that HDTV's are cheaper.  But educate yourself on the type of TV you want before buying.  There are tons of options.  Plasmas, LCD's and DLP's are all pretty good options depending on your situation.  Get a good brand though -- the cheap brands are cheap for a reason.

Yes it makes a BIG difference. However, that being said, some people do not like the mobility trade-off from the weight of the armor. This can be particularly noticeable when you try to quickly look around a corner and can't do it as quickly because you're wearing armor.

By the way, never wear more than 6 points worth of armor protection. It just slows you down more and offers no more protection than higher amounts. Wear 0 , 4, or 7 points of armor. Anything in between makes no difference (it is counted as light, medium, and heavy) and only slows you down.

Look sir, i do believe i can type just fine. I jus would rather prefer not to because well in fact, I would end up looking like a stuck up know it all **** That, instead of listening to the problem or reasoning with it., will in fact just jump to his own conclusion and end up deserving a punch in the face.

sincerly,

someone who can't type.

Work on your communication skills.  I have no clue what you're getting at with this thread.
