And as for the OP. I don't blame you if you have been ripped off by next generation consoles. That's why people buy it, to be ripped off and let it slowly grow upon them. In this sense some people may like it and some won't. I don't think I'll like it so I'm going to be sticking with the PS3 for the next 2-3 years until I move out of the house and buy my own PS4. I can't let go of experiences like GTA V, Uncharted, AC 2 (Brotherhood, 5) and well: a hell of a lot more. Or well should I go next gen... And restrict myself with expensive games and a deserted library.

6/10 is kinda' low, but IGN's 7.8 was spot on for the right reasons. Even if it was somewhat of a satisfying game, it was not worth 60 $.

I have never owned a Playstation or an Xbox. I'm debating between the Ps3 and Ps4.

Ps3 has the bigger and arguably better library right now and it will last you til' 2016. While the PS4 is lacking games, has an expensive game library with no backwards compatibility. But in the next couple of years, we'll see true next gen. And it will be much better than the Ps3 (with some backwards compatibility maybe).

@ristactionjakso: That's true, but usually if no one's there and you kill someone and leave them there, who's going to care? Generally the gameplay in TLOU was mediocre for a stealth/action/adventure game.
