[QUOTE="zomgwtfbbqlol1"][QUOTE="subrosian"]You can get a VGA adapter for the 360 for $10 (used) online or at GameStop, with the Fall update, pretty much every computer monitor resolution is now supported. You can use the monitor you have, or get a nice Samsung LCD for $200 ~ $300 and pick up the HDMI adapter.subrosian
lol, or just realise that SDTV sucks and get a "real" HDTV, like a XBR, or a KuroYes, clearly people who are upset are looking for a $2,000 solution :| Obviously they're upset because they're going to have to drive to Best Buy, not because a $40 game they want to buy now involves buying a $600+ HDTV to play it on. (sarcasm ).
Or y'know, there's the sensible solution - most people have a computer monitor lying around. You can get adapters for your 360 for under $20. As Banjo & Kazooie is a $40 game, you can think of that $20 you saved as going towards the adapter you might need to play it.
I recently picked up a VGA adapter for $10 so that I could take my 360 and monitor with me (there's no way I'm lugging my HDTV in the car ). It works pretty well, it's not perfect, but the Fall update should fix the lingering problem of 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050 support, and that's only two weeks away.
lol ppl should just move onto HD, thats my point, but leaning a bit more to waht u are saying, it is a good and kinda inexpensive fix, but i think they should just instead of making a small patch they should just jump ship and get a newer and better HDTV(sorry im an HD extremest... i also hate ppl who still use VHS...)
