While she's technically not the villain, I consider her one. My top villain too.

I have had this discussion with some of my friends, and the way I see it is you don't realize what's she sacrificing until the very end and until then, she is the villain. Regardless, she plays the role of the villain because that is what she needed to do, so really, she was the villain by inconvenience and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
