[QUOTE="smcg69"]Im shocked aswell but I'm not complaining. Hopefully it willl be another good RPG for the 360. There aren't too many of them at the momentTheCrazed420

There aren't to many rpgs in general atm in this gen of games... quite sad.

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. Ive played a TON of rpgs over the last year, more than most.

Do name some then because I am really curious... I can honestly not even think of 10 that I would love to play from this generation of consoles so far from only psp/ps3/ds/wii/360(PC I guess, but I am not exactly a PC gamer)... Not old games either from VC etc. Just new titles. Because I have played plenty of RPGs over the past year as well just not on newer consoles.

Starting from this "gen"(including PC) ;

Gothic 3 - NWN2 - The Witcher - Blue Dragon - Eternal Sonata - Lost Odyssey - Mass Effect - Oblivion - FFXII:RW - Etrian Odyssey - Hellgate : London - Mythos - Two Worlds.

I've played these all at some point or another since at max 2 years ago.

I can see where your coming from but I def disagree with your list is all. The only I find myself interested in on that list is Lost Osyssey, FFXIIRW, and Eternal Sonata, Blue dragon I just can't stand and HG I had fun with the demo but I know more people that say the game is horrible near the end rather than good.

I wonder how much Microsoft paid them... The PS3 is doing well enough worldwide to warrant a port. I'm sure Wii owners are hungry for JRPGs as well. Oh well... I'm a happy Lost Odyssey owner as well, you would just think it would make sense for Japanese developers to make some JRPGs for systems that Japanese people actually own.rragnaar

I was wondering the same thing... Like 360 generally does poorly each week in japan on sales yet a lot of these newer JRPGS are coming to 360... Not saying it is a bad thing from my standpoint but they don't seem to be marketing them towards japanese folks for the most part.

I found the original Half-Life opening really cool and somewhat unique. As you rode the cart thing down to the station and just watched people doing their daily routines...

FFXII for me.... Love that game so much, as frustrating as it is at times (simply because some enemies can destroy you if your not careful) I had so much fun with it. Also the 5ish hour dungeon near the end of the game? That was crazy.

I'm surprised no one has said eternal darkness. I was like 13 or so when the game came out and when I was hanging out with a friend to play it we both almost crapped outselves. The volume bar from the sanity effects looked exactly like the one on his tv and when we saw it we both looked at each other because the tv remote was halfway across the room... Talk about being freaked out.
