this morning my PS3 did a quick switch on me. This was my second PS3 (yoshiboy303) (yoshiboy303x) and now (kiyoshi303x) for PSN. This morning my 2nd PS3 showed a static screen. Would not shut off at all from the controller or the system sensor button. I had to use the power button in back. when I turned my PS3 back on ALL my data was gone?? it was the PS screen again where it makes yoiu choose language and time region and all that again. I configured my PS3 again and when it came up, ALL my saved info including profile had been erased! The PS3 erased all the game saves and trailers and demo's and downloads on the system. So I went back to walmart and got a REFUND!! Went to Best Buy and got my third PS3. Made in oct of 07. the first was the newest being made in jan of 08 and the 2nd in nov of 07. so my new one was made the longest ago and has worked the best. I know the system doesnt change but how people handle the system off the trucks do. And lets face it that cardboard they use doesnt protect the system enough from damage. So go to an electronics store, Not walmart. And hopefully you dont need to go through 3 PS3's to find a good one. (the third PS3 from walmart had no seal sticker and was clearly open Im sorry, but I did return it for cash. not cause it broke but because it was already played and i wont pay new for usedROCK303
OMG the same thing happened to me 2 days ago! I had to send in my PS3 for repairs, not had it back yet.
wii is coming out in korea. witch is known as pc land . But the wii and ds have been great at expansing markets. i bet the wii will be a major console in korea . it will bring console gaming into the main stream there .
