[QUOTE="C_Rule"]Isn't it 60?C_Rule

60+60=120. two eyes you know..

It seems like HDMI 1.4 is needed to get 1080p @ 24 fps. And 1.3 only supports 720p. But i don´t know cause all the technical details is written in a engineering language.

I don't follow... Isn't the frame rate split in two? So if you're getting 60fps per eye, you'd be getting 60 fps?

As I understand it 120Hz @ 1080p gives 24 fpsX2. If 60Hz you get 12 fpsX2.

[QUOTE="-GeordiLaForge-"]I thought that you could use 3DVision through any of the outputs.. Also, contrary to popular belief, 100Hz is the real minimum requirement for using 3DVision...-GeordiLaForge-

No. You need 120Hz to get 24fps per eye. If not the screen will flicker.

3DVision games will work fine with 100Hz displays.. 720p 100Hz 3DVision projector...

"There is an annoying strobe effect when watching content at 1080p24, possibly due to the color wheel only cleanly matching a 60Hz refresh. Again, it's so bad, I'm not sure why they even included this feature. If you can't stand 3:2 pulldown, look else"

I need a 120 mhz monitor. And acording to nVidias homepage only 3 monitors support HDMI 1.4 3D vision. The rest of 120 mhz is "only" BlueRay 3d ready.. What does HDMI 1.4 mean? Do I need it?

Go for the 1333. On an AM3/Phenom II-based system like the one you're planning, you'll never notice the difference. Also, I recommend getting the 955 instead of the 975 if you can. That is, if it saves you $15-20 or more. I know that the 975 is a full $60 more than the 955 on newegg. It's definitely not worth it. The 955 BE (and all Black Edition CPUs) have unlocked multipliers that allow you to match the multiplier setting of the 975. You basically get the same CPU for less money. Get a 955, go into the BIOS, change the CPU multiplier to 18, maybe bump the voltage up 1-2 steps, and you're done. Most 955's don't even need more voltage to hit 3.6ghz stable.

Yea, you can bump the 955 to 3.6 Ghz. But you cant bump it to 4.2 as with the 975 ;)
