Old Nvidia chipsets and no support for USB3

I don´t want to pay silly prices for intel processors, but I can only find 1 AMD motherboard that supports SLI, the rest is crossfire. And the board does not have usb 3 nor compatible with 6-core processors, which sucks if i want to upgrade later on..

That MB looks like an exellent choice, but then again, why would i want to pay for a crappy soundcard and 14 (!) USB ports?

It is a complete Jungle at my retailer. I have no clue of what board i should choose.. I dont need integrated sound or graphicscard. Nor 12 USB ports. But i want a highend card none the less. Any recomndations?

Im thinking of uppgrading my system with an AMD, but im confused.

I have an AMD dual core 6000+ running at 3.2 ghz and thinking that i need a new one. But from what i heard, games do not use more than 2 cores so will i gain anything from buing a quad core 970 or the six core? Will the differance be that much?
