[QUOTE="blue_hazy_basic"]preferably 2010, 2011 at the latest, for people saying 2014 or later the technology will be so obsolete by then.Steel-PantherThe ps2 has been obsolete even before the ps3 launched, but Sony knew that they needed to release a new console. I think people are forgetting that. I would say it's not really obsolete until people stop buying it.

Well, America's a country, Europe's a continent so i think no. Maybe a Teutonic console would sell well in germany, thougn?Mr_VersipellisYeah, but with the European Union and all we're supposed to feel closer, almost as a nation :)
For all you Europeans out there; if a console existed that was on pair with the 360/PS3 (which are basically equal) that was made by a European company, would you be biased to buy it over the competition? Do Europeans have at least some patriotism that Americans, to a great extent, seem to have. I don't think it's a coincindence that MS console is selling much better in the US. This imaginary console would of course carry all multiplatforms and have some exclusives, lets say the game library would be equal with the competition.
I do understand that far from all American gamers like the 360 over the PS3 but I think most do.
you're trap didn't make sense. If I'm not considered a sony fanboy I wouldn't know what I'd be considered since I hate the 360, but I still prefer prototype.Some-MistYou fell right into it but now the joke is over and I'm not sure what we're discussing.
i'm not following. what is too easy?clone01
Maybe you're some kind of super gaming guru then, because protoype gets really tough by the end. It's more likely though that you haven't actually played.VaasmanAre you for real? This is like stealing candy from children. We're in System Wars, the most predictable place on the net =)

Anyone who says they own both and like Prototype better are most likely a lying (to themself) fanboy.
Some-Mist
I wouldn't see any need to lie to myself, when I own a PS3 and a PC, and I don't ever plan on getting a 360 (dislike the game selection). I'm glad that you can't see that people have opinions that are sometimes the opposite of yours. Not only does that make you a fanboy, but it makes you ignorant as well.
It's just too easy, not even fun.[QUOTE="zytox"]
