Damn. I bought a game I said I would never buy because of these sales. Phantom Pain for $20. Need an XBox Live membership for get down to $20. Titanfall 2 $30. Don't think I can resist that one for long. The thing for me now, is for World of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest Builders on PS4 to be $30 and Modern Warfare remastered to be released on it's own. >_<

Still don't see how the first Nier game gets hate. You had shooting from the shoulder buttons in the first one too. All of the enemies were the same in this new demo for the second one. As they were in the first game. It's quicker paced but it';s pretty much the same.

Besides Virtual Boy, this is a new console / handheld that I don't really care about getting at launch. That sucks. New consoles from one of the big 3 should be exciting times. :(

@HBM: One of the first things you see when you boot up the game is this claim "A Final Fantasy for fans and first-timers." It's a strange statement; fans can't agree on what makes a good Final Fantasy game. :)

The algorithm was the scapegoat. Whatever people wanted to happen, could happen but probably won't. And the price was to high as well, as is one of the main complaints. The teams eventual goal for what the game would be may be a $59.99 game. Not what was released. Blame Street Fighter V for that I guess. For what it's worth, I have the game and enjoy playing it in little bits. I wouldn't have had a huge problem if the game was priced properly. $14.99 to $24.99. I would think that if they are adding base building, they would have to lower the percentage of seeing other players in the game. Maybe.

Some of them probably thought that way about the Virtual Boy as well. :)

To me it's easier to charge a bunch of money for a new system that hasn't come out yet. With the next gens already out, it's going to be tough to put out at least $599.99 at this point. Most 4KTV's have apps that stream 4K content, so it isn't like we don't have any access to some sort of 4K stuff. Why would anyone pay that much for an upgrade basically, to a system we already have. That goes for PS4 Pro as well. Unless Scorpio comes out at a lower price than we are expecting and then causes the PS4 Pro to go lower, it seems completely stupid. Don't forget about Nintendo's new system. That's just my opinion.

That 6.5 didn't read like a 6.5. >_<

Nintendo thought like I did. This will never be a huge thing because people can play these games on other platforms. Back when they first released the NES, video game popularity was way down after the Atari 2600. They had to take baby steps. This has been Nintendo through out the years imo. They were always going up against something seemingly bigger than they were. Whether it be the market itself or another competitor. The Game Boy was the first real handheld and they gave it as much attention as if it was a console. The SNES was going against the Sega Genesis. The N64 just jumped the 32 bit era and also used a cartridge. The GameCube never had a chance. The Wii was going up against HD gaming, Sony and Microsoft, with a whole new way to play games. The WiiU never had a chance. Back to handhelds. The Virtual Boy never had a chance. I list these 3 things because they failed. Not everything they touch turns to gold. Who's doing anything 3D anymore ??? There's no way they could have known that Pokemon Go was going to take off like it did. The moral of the story, PRE-ORDER Nintendo products. You never know when they are going to hit one out of the park. An Xbox exec should know this by now.

That's what I thought. They'll probably be a PS4 Pro Slim anyway. I have a 4KTV with apps on it that stream movies in 4K already. No need to upgrade yet. I understand that the market is trending more towards digital media, but Sony has given a day one buyer of their system no reason to upgrade. On the other hand, Microsoft has. Of which I am also a day one buyer. So what it boils down to is, do I want a bottom feeder VR experience or a system that plays 4K Blu-Rays. Neither. I'll stand pat on both at this time. :)
