That's the thing that i really really hate about PC gaming. Is you have to spend a lots of cash just to get a great graphics and sound. You have to buy this, you have to buy that. That's why i just stick to consoles. Just plug and play.

Now they need to release an updated demo and drop the price to at least $30.

DX 11 adds to the game without a doubt but it can't change the crappy AI and poor story. Crysis 2 still feels like it should have come out before the original Crysis, which is now 4 years old.

@allenella Art direction is MUCH better than technical prowess for that.

Nice specs TA, very similar to my own. While I understand not all PC gamers have high end systems, so many of us do, and enjoy programming that takes advantage of it.

Sick graphics. I want to have the PC they used to show all that. Combined with 3D, it'll be like we're actually in a movie (or, in this case, game)!

they ruined the crysis' story, would be gr8 if they could remake crysis 2 and continue the story from where the first one ended.

Biggest upset of the year for me ! Technically good - no wow factor - yet again doesn`t offer anything new or revolutionary to the genre. A mediocre campaign and a so so multiplayer. And as for the DX 11 update : Finally ! It was supposed to happen when the game was released, yet we waited for it some time

and THIS is why Crysis is a benchmark for your PC !

Nice owning a high end system when you can play games like this. (Even crappier games look better on a nice system). (System: Win7-64, i7-930, 2x nVidia GTX 460's, 1TB HardDrive, BluRay Optical Drive, 6GB RAM, HD audio (Realtek & nVidia), 24" 1920x1080 Full HD Monitor, 2 speakers/1subwoofer- about to get a 5 speaker/subwoofer set up though ;) - my latest of 4 PC's).

@SgtStrungOut: in case you didn't know, graphics help in immersing the player into the game. Just like watching a good movie. I guess you don't care for movies either.

Sadly DX11 doesn't expand the environments and improve the story, though I might buy it if Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber were two of the main bosses.

So did crytek fix the A.I too? Hopefully the bad guys don't run out and set themselves up for a SNIPER KILL...as they always do in this game. LMAo.. Nothing but LOOKS in the end...

My biggest gripe with Crysis 2 wasnt anything technical, but rather the story content felt horribly tossed together. What happened to the other two suit soldiers? Why is Prophet the only one who came back? Personally, if the story was better, it would be awesome in my opinion.

Still not a good enough reason to buy and play the game, for me personally.

Everyone needs to stop crying about this game. It's not supposed to be like the first so stop whining. You want to be able to roam 300 square miles freely? You're asking too much. How would they even do that for a shooter, a genre which is naturally a linear experience. They wouldn't be able to do what they did with the narrative (which wasn't bad at all). Gameplay was much better and more solid than the first as well. And now the graphics are even better. Sounds like they've improved on all fronts...kay thanks.

@eminem197795 I fully agree,Im dissapionted in Crysis 2 because of all those things.Graphics were still great,but they were a bit better in first Crysis,the gameplay was a biggest dissapointment..And I think about the enviroments the same way as you,urban setting is becoming boring and generic for me,because its used in many games lately,especially FPS games.

Convincing people to focus on graphics, distracts them from the fact that all new games are nothing than bad clones of each other.

I'm going to go ahead and buy this game now from Origin. Sucks that it can't be on Steam.... but... what can you do. Just want to show them support for giving the PC players the patch they've wanted. Does it change gameplay? No. That can't be patched away. Gotta wait for Crysis 3 for that. In the meantime... go Crytek! No other game pushes my GPU atm... so this will be fun to look at for a while :)
