Reality Check - Why all the Zombies in Video Games?

Lonely Hippie...you sad little person...the reason you "don't care" and desire just to simply "shoot shit" totally gives away your lazy mental state and how you quickly resort to accusing the speaker of "wanting to feel smart"...maybe he is just really interested in the psychology behind these games...you on the other-hand represent the miserable, hapless, media consuming cattle who only desires wallow through life, afraid of cultivating your miniscule and degenerated mental abilities for fear of "sounding smart"....

i do. Though I like to think i'm quite scientifically minded. And sometimes, knowing for the sake of knowing is important and worthwhile enough.

@LonelyHippie27 i would disagree, i tend to think he brings a different yet brilliant way of analyzing entertainment, and that in it's own right is quite entertaining imo. But we are on the net and ur entitled to ur hateful comment mate. *cheers*

@LonelyHippie27 Well, that's your opinion friend, but in my case I've actually enjoyed looking into these instances on how video games have an effect on us. And yes, Escape from Mount Stupid was great, Reality Check doesn't exactly demeans it and caters to a different audience I suppose. Nonetheless, it's not something to get your jimmies in a bunch.

@Monsterkillah I don't think a game or movie has ever captured the terrifying awesomeness that a zombie invasion could produce. Imagine so many that your chances of survival is minutes. That would be epic.

If I tried playing classic RE I prob won't feel scared as it used to be

@LonelyHippie27 omg i've always said that.. I've dream't about a complete GTAV expansion pack for like $20 or so that completely overhauls GTAV and turns all the buildings into creepy 28 days later/dayz setting with grey skies and vegetation/moss overgrown city with dead silent streets and the occasional newspaper blowing past.. Start with nothing but a backpack and see how long you could survive with a group of friends online (tents, canned foods, ammo boxes, first aid boxes).. Would be the ULTIMATE open world survival zombie game

@SpinDie25 Then you should have stopped listening at "Psychology" because that's essentially what it is. It's quite common sense but actively thinking about it allows you to fight your own short comings. Quite frankly, what this guy is talking about should actually be taught to young children though most adults would be hard pressed to notice such obvious things themselves (which is sad).
