Because nobody's paying Bungie to port it to PC, and Valve has two reasons to make such a transaction:

1. SteamOS: Valve titles aren't enough to carry a platform, and Valve needs to prove that they're willing to spend the big bucks if they want to convince developers that Linux is a viable gaming platform.

2. Half-Life 3: Even if Valve didn't give a crap about linux gaming, let's not forget that Valve are scraping the bottom of the barrel for reasons to delay Half-Life 3. We've got something to put in that barrel, and it's called Destiny.

Forgive me for not knowing better; Bungie really isn't a well-known/respected PC developer, but isn't Bungie primarily a console developer anyways?

It's just that I remember how bad Halo 1 and 2 were for the PC, and if that's indicative of the game or quality we'd get, I'd rather they just pass the PC by. Because of the hype I was watching a lot of Destiny footage, and I really don't see anything that impressive about it visually. Looks like standard fare, to be honest. I'm just not sure where the hype is coming from. No offense to anyone who likes Destiny or Bungie (more power to ya), I just don't get it.

Sure is a waste not having this for PC... Bought for PS4, but I'm not even interested in the Crucible... If it were a PC I'd be all over that...

They seriously didnt mention Planetside 2, Defiance and Firefall? Because those games are the closest thing as an alternative to Destiny as they are all Online Multiplayer with RPG elements

To me it seems like a lot of the hype around this game is due to the fact that there is absolutely nothing else coming out at the moment. I watched gameplay videos and it just seems like another Borderlands which got boring very quickly for me even in co-op.

I've played them all ,well working my way thru ME3. I agree with your suggestions except for TF. TF is a good game, but is in no way like Destiny. People that like COD will like TF. Unless of course you are referring to the MP aspect of Destiny. If thats the case, then yeah, TF is comparable to the MP of Destiny. :)

Planetside's about the only game I can think of that's like Destiny... except it's not like Destiny at all. But they both have that pew-pew-pew feel that I detest.
