Are the hair metal dudes supposed to be bad guys? I'd sure hope not. Considering Ozzy makes an appearance in the game. I'm sure he portrays some sort of good guy. Two of his best guitarists Randy Rhodes and Jake E. Lee both were glam rockers. Jake E. Lee especially, and he wrote Bark at the Moon and the MF'ing Ultimate Sin! Just hoping this game doesn't portray the hair sprayed whirling dirvish types as posers or anything, 'cause I've got to say most of them rocked. Either way I CANNOT wait for this game! It look sooo awesome. Brutal LEGEND! :D

@ kristjanp07 well i have a 360 not a ps3 so i wouldnt call myself a fanboy... But with the 300 price point on the ps3 (wich has way better hardware and software) its already a better deal than the 360 i have. but erm. regardless... each console only has a few exclusive games worth wanting. Almost all the great games (like this Brutal legend) are on both. Im sure youll enjoy gaming regardless of which one you buy. But that red ring of death might end up costing you alot more than a ps3 in the long run...

i just love the work they put into the factions especialy the iron head faction where they take real life concepts like the bouncer and aplifies it like making the bouncer a tank like character. got to love tim's work. drowning doom looks awesome

Wow this game looks like its going to be cool..Was just getting this to pass some time an i love mettal..Now how ever after watching this video..Looks like ill be having some fun..Just hope its longer than ten freakin hours games of late are getting cheap..

@kingkronik Umm I love heavy metal music but i don't spend my time sitting in my room smoking bongs or headbanging. You don't need to act a certain way to like heavy metal XD i'm sure alot of non heavy metal fans will still enjoy this game or even become fans

I love metal, I dig Jack Black, Tim shafer is awesome, Brütal Legend is going to be one of the best things of 2009 for me! And it's so creative, the concept of the different factions, the world design, the characters(not to mention the ones based on real rockers, Ozzy, Lemmy etc.), the dialog and of course, the music! I literally can't wait!

This game is gonna be brilliant! Creative, imaginative and totally immersive! Activision are fools for letting this one go! The games industry needs more of this and less hyperrealism.

when I first saw this game I thought, it's a cool idea but I don't know if it will work. My concerns are that the jokiness and metalness would become grating: if jokes are funny they are usually only funny the first time, I quite like old school metal but do I want to hear it constantly in a soundtrack? Now the game is looking good, I hope the game gets an 8 but even if it gets 7.5 I will probably buy it to spite activision

a very unique concept in today's predictable gaming market in that it's completely different to what we're accustomed to waiting for (newer versions of past legendary games). It looks to awesome. I can't wait to play it!!!
