@uprentiss @willprot @zenstrata Take a step back, dude, and actually read the shit you are spewing out. You talk of maturity, but does you comments seem mature to you?

I really don't think you are old enough to be playing either game judging from your comments...

TC:HK was stale after a few hours, the combat felt like a 'decent at best, headache at worst' clone of the Arkham games' combat system.
JC2 was freaking awesome, GTA needs a grapple hook mod

Good video however is there a way to turn auto play off. It's skipping to the next video and another page mid comments sometimes.

@RobDev
Step 1: Hover over video.
Step 2: Look in bottom right hand corner of the player window near the video player settings (where you would go to change the video quality).
Step 3: Click "Auto Play" your new setting should then read "Auto Play Off".

@Iffy350

In addition to the multiplayer COMPONENT being a seperate game of its own...multiplayer is just a feature as the actual single player campaign is the game itself. Based entirely on the core game, yes, it is possible for it to get a 10 out of 10 without an active online multiplayer.

@Iffy350 The multiplayer is called GTA Online, so it's considered to be a separate game.

@spindie3 Actually there are loads fo games that do things better than GTA V. Gran tourismo/forza are better driving games for example. Now if the video was about how they are BETTER games than GTA you would have a point, but they are not, so you don't

@RobDev I would say Just Cause 2, GTA4, even GTASA are better driving games than GTA5, it has the bad mechanics of Midnight Club!

And popularity isn't indicative of lack of quality either.

GTA V is an example of popularity and quality being equal.

Although this is a different game type, I would say Dues Ex Human Revolution is simply a better game.

The plot line in Deus Ex is amazing, the world is well crafted, fun to explore, and enjoyable to travel through. It has a much better character customization and skill system, along with a better combat and stealth system. Weapon options and customization is much more enjoyable. It also lets the player make choices and influence the story of the game with those choices.

That latest Deus Ex makes you want to finish the game, whereas in GTA 5, I found myself becoming bored and tired as I played it. Driving endlessly around the city looking for specific cars gets pretty old after a while. And the vanishing vehical bug is a major pain in the rear as you spend hundreds of thousands on car upgrades just to have the money go up in smoke as vehicles randomly disappear from the game entirely.

I was also frustrated with GTA 5 missions for forcing me into a mission specific vehicle when I had a much better and upgraded car (which I had driven to the mission start point) sitting right next to it. But the game just forces you to take certain things, not because of any real plot or story reason, but just because if you don't take the car the game wants, you auto-fail the mission.

On top of that, sometimes mission specific characters would just bug out completely, getting stuck in level geometry and prevent you from being able to complete the mission.

I had to kill myself several times and replay mission segments just to fix these sorts of bugs in GTA 5.

@zenstrata It makes no sense to use your personal car in a heist/etc. They are clean cars, that's the point.

@zenstrata wow i guess i had the only version of gta v that did not do this? I had a pre release and a day of release version. ironic that you had these issues and i never have. and i suppose dues ex had no errors or issues upon its release as it was a perfect game like you claim

@uprentiss One other thing, The Deus Ex game is only a couple years old. That is not really very long ago at all. The technology these games are on has been going a long time, and so you can find many games these days which are several years old but are still very fun to play.

Some other titles worth taking a look at -

Dark Souls (very good but difficult single player fantasy RPG)

Metro Last Light (another single player title focusing on a post-apocalyptic setting)

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas (these games may swallow your soul for several weeks, so be careful!)

Dishonored (reminiscent of the Thief series, this game is all about stealth and assassination)

@uprentiss @zenstrata Deus Ex Human Revolution is easily one of the best games to come out in the last 5 years. It is quite lengthy but the storyline is very well done and the environments are unique and fun to explore. It should keep you interested all the way through.

The game is really an RPG but the combat is done in real-time. The game gives you multiple ways to develop your character and influence the storyline as you play and has several different endings based on what choices you make. Your choices even influence how the story progresses. There is a main storyline of course, but there are also many completely optional side quests which are a lot of fun in themselves.

It is a completely single player experience however, so do not go in expecting multiplayer of any kind. But the game does not need it, I would strongly suggest taking a look if you have some time to fill.

It is available on STEAM discounted to 20$ these days. And is well worth the price.

@uprentiss @zenstrata Actually Deus Ex Human Revolution had a surprisingly bug-free release. At least I never really ran into any problems with it. Of course it was not truly an 'open world' title.

It had large hub sections which could be explored and these sections would move you into individual mission areas, then return you to the hub after finishing the missions. The hub areas also had shorter missions that could be done purely inside of them, and also had things to explore and find.

But yeah, I ran into quite a few annoying bugs and stuff that was just plain frustrating in GTA 5. This does not mean I think it was a bad game, just not as good as several others which have come out in the last few years. (one of those being the Deus Ex I mentioned).

I do not find the physics in GTA5 to be poor i like them i find the whole mechanic of car accidents and proper traffic flow to promote better in game driving and the ones who complain probably just cant drive. I like the way cars dont fly everywhere and go all crazy in every accident that makes it so when it does happen and a larger accident or collision can catch you off guard and still give you a sense of something you have not seen.
