V Games That Do Things Better Than GTA V

The tears of GTA fans on Gamespot could fill every ocean.

Just Cause 2 does vehicle mechanics much better than GTA5, it's a nice balance of the realistic physics in GTA4 and the dumb arcade GTA5 physics.

Okay I watched this to the end, finally gamespot is doing some reports about something else then Skyrim, and uninteresting things...CONGRATS!!!

Second 5 things done better then GTA, yep might be true.... but those 5 games all only do one of them things better...GTA does all of them at once... hmmm?

It's like saying that a Ford GT is a better car then a Rolls Royce just because Ford GT handles curves better.....

GAMESPOT is making a parody of itself I think.

Those other 5 games don't engage the Player the same way GTA does...

either the movement feels stupid...the missions feel stupid.... or something else is off.....

you can tell all you want, and a few People (probably relatives or Close friends to gamespot stuff) will agree.... but GTA is just better when looking at the whole Picture then all of em...

And GTA vanila is better then Skyrim Vanila...

because let's face it Skyrim is a boring waste of nothingness...random generated missions that noone gives a crap about....

In a competitive industry/profession you should think you are the best always if not then you are settling for second. Growing and improving has nothing to do with how good you think you are. if you are the best it takes improvement to stay that way...get your mind right

sleeping dogs = one of the best games no1 played in recent years. so unfortunate too, its awesome

Will Destiny count as "open world"? What about Star Citizen?

I would've put SR2 on the list instead of SRIV. Don't get me wrong, I loved SRIV, and it was a HUGE improvement over SR3, but IV was a superhero game, like Infamous or Prototype. SR2 was a true open world crime game.

THANK YOU! GTA V looks good, but is not the only good open world series. That's why I hate the term "GTA Clone". Hopefully it dies soon, like "Doom Clone" did by 1997. I liked Saints Row better than SA and IV. Sleeping Dogs is HIGHLY underrated, and plays nothing like GTA. It's like an open world brawler.

I liked this video. I'm always partial to a lesser game if it offers something unique that even the best doesn't offer. It can't be complete crap though. I loved how the original True Crime basically had the mechanics of four genres in one game.

I love all the people just scrounging for anything negative in this video.

It makes me think none of them even watched it, and only looked at the title.

Never once do they say, "Hey, GTA V sucks at this stuff, and these games are way better, play these instead."

Instead, they say, very clearly, "Hey, if you ever get tired of Los Santos, and feel like trying out a different sort of Open World Game that may do one or two things a bit better, try these out."

why cant anyone play gta 5 with their kids? what if my dad was a gamer and was playing with me, his 33 year old son?

Sleeping Dogs was such a great surprise to me. One of my favorite OWG's fo sho. Great show, Mary!

Just played GTA V , and i can tell you that this is the best GTA series yet. but i prefer combat in Sleeping Dogs IMO

On a serious note, Mary Kish has an excellent voice for game narration. She reminds me of the in game voice for the racer Blur.
