Lol i though Dice/EA were so proud that they didn't have a CoD like payservice. Thats what there campaigne was all about when they started stomping on CoD with there BF3 game.. Ohwell go go corporate sharks, we already saw the fin now it's starting to bite.

Just when BF3 was really impressing me and I was hailing how good it felt to play, they do something like this. It's really a shame that not only will a company do this, but that we as consumers let them.

EA will charge $50 for this service just like Elite. Don't expect anything for Free. I'm shocked how EA is copying IW/Activision on the whole Subscription Service. What that's EA you couldnt come up with your own idea so you copy what others have done? EA is so lame.

Do what you want to BF3 EA, I've gone back to BC2 while there are still people playing it.

BF3 is far from being the best Battlefield game, and this crap isn't going to help.

I buy most of my games new... I also pay for xbox live... I will not pay subscription fees for every game I wish to play.

I'm not too fussed anymore about these games. I shouldn't have bought BF3 and just left it to BF2. I didn't buy MW3 but I did Black Ops, which is a good game I admit IMO but I dunno. I defiantly won't be buying any new Battlefields or Call Of Duty's. ^^;

BF3 is not a good game. Several broken weapons. The fetish DICE has with vehicles renders many of them over-powered. Stingers do jack. Spawn camping still happens constantly. The anti-air elements are ridiculously under-powered (except for the Tunguska, which is on ONE map) and hidden at the ends of maps. Teams are usually unbalanced. The servers suck. This game is a step back from BFBC2.

how about fixing the game first sick and tired of finishing a round and not having my stats updated or gaining new rank only to have it enabled 20000 points later. every update makes more things worse and fixes SFA. now you wish to rape us some more with paid elite services

I'm not yet happy with BF3... its not great.

They need to fix the current game first... the last patch turned it into AirWars 3 instead of BF3... jets and helo whores are made now with the ECM reloading faster than a magnum pistol.... unlimited rockets and flares.... dammed regen, so just fly off reload your everlasting rockets and repair at the same time.... Get the existing merchandise fixed before you ask me for more money please... I paid for BATTLEFIELD 3 not HAWX...

60 for the game, 50 for subscription, another 50 if you play on xbox live and 90 for the internet. that's 250 bucks to play 1 game on Xbox live. wtf is happening to the world these days? people don't buy it. then they'll charge us 50 bucks for subscription service so we will be allowed to purchase micro transactions, and if purchased they can be taken away any second if the company decides to shit down the game. i see a dark future in gaming, if people keep acting like sheep and buying everything that is displayed.

I find it hilarious that EA spent months bad mouthing Activision for this and now they do the EXACT. SAME. THING. I honestly quit playing this game when they started renting servers and I have learned my lesson buying EA games again. I knew better about 5-10 years ago but then they started seeming like such not douches only to go back to their old ways.

Rent-a-Server was a great idea as the problem for me was the rounds were ending too quick then you hafta wait a minute before the next one? but now I get a good plays worth before having to wait which is better. So I guess Im saying I have faith haha

i wont be paying for this service, i dont need camo on my gun so that some 12 year old kid who kills me feels epic for killing a dude with a cool gun. Dont get me wrong, its great that DICE are getting more money for BF3, i dont want them to lose out on opportunities like this, but since i only play a few hours a week i wont be needing this.
