E3 2017: Destiny 2 On Xbox One X Runs At 30 FPS, Just Like PS4 Pro

With respect and this is a light hearted discussion from a passionate gamer to another, the xbox one x clearly out classes the ps pro in some areas if not most, ill agree.

With regard to the pc costing, so i spent £400 on a ps4 on release, to upgrade i need to spend another £400 minimum to pro (or xbox one to X) thats a total of £800-£900 to get the pc equivalent (uk not us) so yeah your right approx $1800 which you already spent anyway buying the console(S).

Further more the pc equivalent will run 4k at 60 frames, the ps-pro and xbox one X still only runs SOME games at 60 frames not all of them, most at 30 frames (so far) for the same money, not vastly superior.

You're literally allowing Sony and MS to dominate the conversation, saying things like "it's PS vs MS tech wise" and allowing them to lynchpin the industry to their consoles lackluster and honestly hilariously sad capabilities. And as a result, console adoption is dropping.

Consoles force devs to curate and limit content to a platform that isn't just technologically inferior; they don't offer the best experiences, they aren't flexible and they increase the cost to play and erode value. Sony and MS have lost ground this gen because people are getting sick of it.

Hoarding exclusives remains a terrible practice; you reach an objectively smaller audience and fracture the community for a title. Even if you go multiplat the variations between versions are likely enough to justify separating them. Look at Destiny 2.

Sony and MS remain relevant artificially and because of tradition; they aren't doing anything better and bank on the misinformation of users who allow thenselves to be restricted for simple convenience. Resting on practices that are outdated is how industries die and Consoles are approaching that reality if they don't do something.

@dudebropartyyo: Dude telling people to act like adults here is a lost cause. I don't think any platform is better, it just comes down to the individual. Myself I have all the consoles and a PC, PC is my main platform, but I just enjoy playing games, so platform doesn't mean much to me, gaming is gaming.

@dudebropartyyo: I have to agree with you that the sony first party are the best ones, like uncharted and last of us. but this is not enough to justify using a console that barely can reach 1080p 60fps. besides, console version of games are more expensive and seldom has good deals. so I dumped my ps4 and now I am gaming on a gtx1080ti.

@Flyin3lvl: The Samsung one is a blur unless you have it positioned just right on your face. Only a small portion of the screen is in focus even then(peripheral vision is blurry) It's neat for what it is and the price it's at though. And I figured out I'm definitely one of those people that need to sit down to play anything lol. A few demos say to stand... I couldn't keep my balance. Hopefully psvr will take off this year and maybe a price drop. The more I look at the latest bunch of games, the more I'm wanting it again.

@HippyTrippy: True, maybe the PS3 and 360 held the graphics or fps back. I know they had to drop support of them on the last dlc because those systems were too weak to do what they wanted.
