@zeca04@bdrtfm@zeca04: Just because its cheaper, doesn't mean you are not paying for the cost of MP. Use your head. No company is going to eat the cost of overhead. They would be bankrupt in a month. They have to pay the bills. They do that from the money they make off of you. Just because it doesn't say on the box or download page that part of the cost is going towards upkeep of servers does not mean it isn't.

1st gen HBM is limited to 4GB Graphics memory

These stacked memory packages have limitations, in the first generation you are looking at four stacks per package with two 128MB chunks in each layer, so that is 256MB per layer. Four times 256MB = 1024MB (or 1 Gigabyte) per accumulated DRAM stack/package. Currently chip designs allow for four stacks per IC (GPU). So that is 4 packages x (4x256MB) = 4096 MB. Hence the one limitation (if you can call it that) is HBA memory being limit at a maximum 4GB of graphics memory for the graphics card.

@Andycreep1@zeca04@zair@fvckgabenewell@guitarist1980: Yeah. I owned 2 amd cards for 4 years, including r9 290. I never had problem with the drives. Nvidia? Hell. And the only games that is problematic on amd almost always is nvidia doing any crap to cripple it.
