Xbox One, PS4, PC Getting 1080p Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Very poor use of female characters. Possibly the worst. Emma Stone? Hell Yes. Using her for a 2 mission dating sim where you complete simple tasks to have sex with her and never contact her again? Hell no.

I love this game, and I feel real happy for whoever hasn't played it before, now's your chance! Don't miss out on this gem of a game, its better than GTA 4 and 5 IMO.

I'm just looking at the 24 DLC Packs part. Couldn't you just make it free in updates instead of nickel and diming every poor sod who bought the game?.

What is defintive about this 'next-gen' generation starting out is that it allows the developer to work with something familiar before they attempt to write a whole new IP.

But the DLC part in general is beyond ridiculous now. You used to get whole expansions for free with your updates, now you have to pay for a small key that unlocks content already on the disc.

If technology is getting better, I hope to whatever deity of your choosing the whole DLC thing just stops. Because it doesn't make sense when it costs more to make less with better technology. Developers from the 90's had very limited resources to work with and still released a whole expansion to the public who bought the game with their updates for FREE. The whole DLC thing is out of hand.

Sorry if I seem like I'm rambling, but I remember when these companies had smaller budgets and could do magic with their games, now it's released in smaller pieces at a slower pace so you fork out more for the same game.

It sickens me that we, as gamers, have to put up with this tripe.

Oh, I remember the days when people raged because "all Wii U have are remakes and ports of old games". Those were the days. :)

The Xbox One and PS4, the consoles that plays all of your Xbox 360 and PS3 favourites with slightly better graphics.

They are probably looking at Master Chief Collection and thinking they can do the same with Last of Us and this game, but MCC is different. Those games go back a ways to the original Xbox. Some gamers may not have played the first two Halo games.

I like how in the trailer it says 'not actual gameplay'. You'd have to be pretty stupid to think it was wouldn't you?

If the live action trailer was actual nextgen gameplay graphics then I would've been impressed.

Because a live-action trailer is what we want.

Tomb raider reboot Definitve edition made sens, Tlou and this ain't making sense at all, let me guess it'l cost 60$. what's next Call of duty modern warfare 1.2.3 black ops 1.2 , all AC games definitive editions??

OK, this is getting a bit out of hand. Yeah, it's a good game but you can get it so cheap on last gen and PC that this doesn't really make any sort of sense.

The question is: why would i buy it when i iv played it platinumed it and pretty much slept with it already.

Game is fun and all, but there is little reason to go back to it. Besides, the pc was already 1080p and 60 fps (at least) as a standard. I use to play it on my eyefinity setup. For those who haven't try the game is a good choice, but I don't get the release on pc, especially when the game is constantly at super low price, and like you already know, at 1080p and 60 fps. This consoles seems to be getting a bunch of remakes instead of newer games. No reason to buy one.

I bet the current PC version looks better than the so called "definitive" console versions.

I rebought the last of us because I truly felt it was a masterpiece of the generation. I draw the line with the remasters on the ps4/xbone for anything else

Next up: Skyrim, Bioshock, Mass Effect....what's old is brand new again! Gotta love the new next gen paperweights.
