The Masked Rider: Kamen Rider ZO complete for $7.....Are you serious?  WOW!  I would jump at getting the game at that price.  In fact, I have that game currently on my eBay watch list......too bad that the price is a good bit higher though.

All of those games for $50!  You got quite a deal.  Congrats. 8)

EDIT: I was so hyped about Kamen Rider ZO that I forgot to put down my latest eBay wins. LOL

 Galaga '90 (TG16)* - $15.50

 Gunboat (TG16)* - $11.48

Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III (TG16)* -  $34.36

Flying Nightmares (3DO)* - $10.00 + ship (box is in bad shape but disc looks great)

The first three were shipped together in one box.

* complete

Thanks :D When I got home, I just had to play the Kamen Rider game first. The game is actually based off of a movie from Japan and features some of the most wicked character designs ever.

Very nice prices on the TG games! Galaga 90 is a great game (I own it on the wii's virtual console).

The Sega CD I bought with the Genesis Model 1 and Saturn won't work. Probably a fuse blown, we might be able to fix it but for now I just bought another one in an auction for around $80 it came with

Sega CD (Model 2, tested to work)
Sega Genesis Model 2 (so I have 2 model 2s now and one model 1)
Two Controllers (I think I have 7 now)
1 Turbo Controller
Game Cleaning Kit
11 Genesis Games all cart only

Mortal Kombat
TMNT: Hyperstone Heist
NFL Football 94
World of Illusions Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
Caslte of Illusions
Taz-Mania
Jewel Master
Road Rash 2
NHLPA Hockey 93
Mike Ditka Power Football
Sonic (the only one with a case, not sure about directions)

Shining Force 3 P1: $88 (Complete)

L.A. Noire: $60

The Witcher 2 SE: $130

Legolas_Katarn
Good stuff :D Especially Shining Force 3. Like I said before, it sounds like a cla$$ic case of the Sega CD blowing a fuse.  if you need help replacing it, I can show you a good guide on how to replace it. :)

good. it's the cheapest it's ever been. I was NEVER going to pay 800 points, and I contemplated after it got reduced to 400... but 200 is a great snatch-price.

*wipes off drool*  I already wanted the game but you are making me want it even more.  I can't wait to score an eBay win for the game.  Hopefully I can get a deal that is somewhat close to the one you got.  :D

Very nice prices on the TG games! Galaga 90 is a great game (I own it on the wii's virtual console).

GAMECAMILLER

Thanks!  I am not surprised that it ended up on the VC.  Speaking of Galaga 90, it just happened to be the 2000th game I entered in my GS gaming list. 8)

We might have found one already, but give me the link just in case. Or where to buy a fuse. Legolas_Katarn

I believe you said you have a model 2 Sega CD. Here's the best picture example I could find. It's the F301 fuse. (look at how tiny it is!)

Just make sure that the connection between the sega CD and genesis is cleaned first to make sure it's not a connection problem.

I basically snipped out the the old fuse, and soldered the new 2.5 amp fuse in.

Sega CD/Mega CD 1 uses a 1.5 amp fuse replacement.

Sega CD/Mega CD 2 uses a 2.5 amp replacement.

Good idea is to try to to get a small fuse holder so it's easier to replace the fuse without more soldering in the future.

After you solder it in and close the Sega CD/Mega CD 2 up, make sure you have the correct plug for it (I actually mark my plugs with a label to make sure I don't confuse it with another plug, and always plug it into a surge protector to limit problems in the future.

also, as a speculative - here's my Hardball collection -

Hardball! - Apple IIGS
Hardball II - PC/Amiga
Hardball III - SNES
Hardball '95 - Genesis
Hardball 4 - PC
Hardball 5 - PS1

Hardball 6 - PC

The second Sega CD I ordered doesn't work well and two of the games I tested don't so looks like I will be losing my second Sega CD, second Model two Genesis, and the last 11 games.

I bought Crysis 2 for the 360 on sale on Amazon for $35.

Right, especially when it is a good game on its own and the bluetooth headset sells for $50 separately!

Today I got:

  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Star (Wii) New $6 (after using my free $10 bestbuy cert)
  • God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PSP) New $10 (free with my ToysRUs club cert, along with 2 $20 PSN cards)
  • Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii) New $20 ---- Target sale
  • FlingSmash w/ black Wiimote (Wii) New $20 ---- Target sale

    TwarBlackshire

The Kirby game is really good, and cutesy. Just what you would expect. I think of it as a cross between Yoshi's Island and LittleBigPlanet.

Took advantage of some sales and got:

    • Fallout3: Mothership Zeta (X360) Download $5
    • Fallout3: Broken Steel (X360) Download $5
    • EA Sports Active 2 (X360) New $20 (8th Kinect game)

Just to follow up, I went to the Game Haven near East Town Mall and picked up most of the titles that I had them hold for me.  The problem is that a few of the games were either apparently shipped out before I secured them or put out on the shelves and bought.  To my dismay, the remaining games that I secured were on the shelves when I got there.  I thought that they were going to hold them for me!  Anyway, here is what I found on the shelves when I got there.......

    - Dudes with Attitude (NES)# - $3.59

I'm sure your heart sank once you figured out that they had put the games on the shelf. Horrible situation to walk into. Regardless, those are great NES purchases KG. Your game total for that system is quite something. Keep it up, I want to see how many you can end up with!

    waflerevolution

You got the GOTY for $10?! Wow, that is a good deal. I unfortunately (or fortunately, since I was able to play the game sooner) owned the game and 3 of the DLC packs before the GOTY edition came out..

Nice! What is your opinion of EA Sports Active 2? Also, what are your thoughts concerning the XBOX Kinect feature? How does it compare to the Wii's motion control system?

    KGKaiju

I haven't tried EA Sports Active 2 yet, but the achievements look promising. I really like the Kinect. It is unique among the motion controlled peripherals and I think it is a lot of fun. Definitely worth owning.

    • Disney Epic Mickey (Wii) New $20
    • Tony Hawk Shred (bundle) (X360) New $25 ---- I now have both Ride and Shred bundles. I have heard that they are not particulary good games, but they seem like collector's items.

@KG- Man, great job on your NES collection! I have right around half the US NES collection at around 370, and games are becoming harder and harder for me to find out in the wild. They also just recently closed my two favorite stores within 2 hours of my house... both the Game Xchange stores in Springfield and Bloomington IL.... :(
