[QUOTE="GAMECAMILLER"] ... so I traded in:
...
DT Racers (PS2) (It was a great idea, looked good, but the gameplay was broken)
Suzuki TT Superbikes (PS2) (Boring!)
... inkwolf
What a cooincidence I just picked up those two games at WalMart last night. In my defense: I only did it because it was part of a PS2 three-pack for thirteen dollars. The third game was Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk. I admit I knew nothing of these games before seeing them in the three-pack, but I could guess they must be pretty horrible for that price. And I was right. With the exception of Burnout, I really don't care for any racing games; they're just not my thing. I only bought the three-pack for Rebel Raiders, which is a quasi-sci-fi jet fighter combat sim. It's just not a good one. Again, no shock there due to the price, but I was really hoping beyond hope that it would be even semi-good. I really love sci-fi flight combat games. It's a frustrating game too because when you play it, you can really tell that if the developers cared just a little bit more; if they spent just a little more time fleshing the game out and polishing it up, it could be within the "pretty good" to "great" calibur. But what am I doing rambling on about this? This isn't a review thread!
So in the past week I also aquired:
God Hand (PS2)
Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition (PS2)
Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (PSP)
MegaMan Powered Up (PSP)
Gunnm: Martian Memory (PS1) - From ebay. (Battle Angel rawks!!!)
Planetarium Creator Ohira Takayuki Kanshuu: Home Star Portable (PSP) - Also from ebay; still in transit.
Now I need to import the PSP GPS unit when it comes out!
when RR:ONH first came out I played the "gutted copy" in my store, I found it pretty good though it did have a somewhat unfinished feel to it but it was a bargin game, $20 at launch... great buys.
