Yeah, it's just up the road from me and becasue it has a low total staff count I usally end up running into the same staff over and over again. I got the deal after the bloke that served me said i could have snagged a bunch of rare PS1 and Gamecube games if I had come in an hour earier (some guy brought 37 GC and 12 PS1 games :S) So I said next time you get some stock in, give me a buz, i'll take em off your hands :D

Nice, I got the CE version of VP and I've been considering trading it for the regular one. Or just keeping the CE unopened and buying a regular copy for me to play.

I've seen four of the Box arts for VP. The CE is ugly. Mine looks alright. Can only get one here that I've seen.

gakon5

I'd like a Micro, but if I got one, it would have to be the Famicom one, but those things are expensive! It's just money that could be better spent for me, and I already have two or three GBAs anyway...

Yeah, I held off buying one until now because the thought of having 8 GB's seemed excessive, but I knew if I did not get it now I'd end up buying one on Ebay 15 years from now for twice the cost. Once I got it home I was impressed with it, it's a tight little GBA, nice screen.

That's a great haul overall, how did you get these so cheap?  And I particularly like these.  It's probably time for me to hit the local pawn shops again...

G III, TC and RPG M2 were part of the same purchase at a pawn shop.  Rub Rabbits and Tokobot were Toys R Us purchases, and Superman was from the ongoing (but dwindling) fire sale at RhinoStop.

Added Brute Force (XB) back into my collection.  Used, $10 CDN, okay condition, complete. only issue is that some cackknacker put stickers on the manual.  Then again, I did get it from Blockbuster.

Depends on what game, Complete games like Super mario kart can fetch up to 60 AUS, where as games like a complete copy of Mortal Kombat 1 may only go for 15 AUS. Wii games retail here for 79 AUS if you want to compare.

If you're happy with your purchase, then you didn't overpay. Some things might be worth more or less to different people depending on their collecting wants, needs, desires, etc.

Super Turrican rocks :D But those are somea nicea games. A few months ago i picked up a PAL copy of Legend of Dragoon. But it only had the case, disc 3+4 and part 2 of the manual, becasue it was missing so many things i picked it up for about 3 AUS. Today i brought disc 1+2 and part one of the manual off a friend for 30 AUS. Bring the total to about 33 bucks. I was just going to sell it for parts but it looks like i got a complete game :D

It's not so expensive if you learn how to bargain hunt.

the seller had pretty much all (not all but mostly) buy it now auctions. and for the most part doesn't know what they are selling. they sell nothing but games and dvds but I think they have a supplier and aren't really knowlageable... there was only 3 the tower SP listed, one bundled with SimCity 2000 at BiN for $60! (wtf) 1 listed as "cart only" with a reserve price of $9.99 and the one I nabbed, I was so apritiative to have found it I spreed on the seller and blew 2 and a half months of spending money... which kinda means I gotta make food last... and hopefully nothing comes up that requires cash.

seriously? it's another one of the games I've ranted about damn-near constintly... it was awesome years ago on the MAC (& PC) and I couldn't refuse the game... it just NEVER shipped ANYWHERE and even GS/EB never had a listing for it... now I just need to find Bubble Bobble Old & New and my official must find rare games for the GBA are done with and I can move on to common GBA must haves...

I won't be doing that again for... well... a long time... probably not till next year.

I finally found a v. fine, complete copy of D.I.C.E. on PS2 today for $10.  It's my second least common PS2 game after Cubix at 20 Gamespot users

that got lowered to $10 in it's first week. I remember updateing the price sticker and going WHA... already? man it's like cat woman all over again... that game was based off a VERY short lived garbage cartoon/anime.
