[QUOTE="cosmostein77"]In terms of bad voice acting, have you heard the voice of Mario in Hotel Mario? Wow...inkwolf
You mean this? It's not so bad. .... Well yeah. Yeah, it is.
I cannot stress how impressed I am at how quickly you found that LOL.
Perhaps not as exciting, but I was able to get my hands on a new unopened N64 Expansion Pak in the Nintendo packaging,
As my current one came bundled with Donkey Kong.
It was 14.99 and just for its camp value I said what the hey!
Picked up a copy of Boogie for the PS2 for $14.98 on clearance from $39.99. It's not a terrible game, and the karaoke aspect can be quite fun (even though you don't really have to sing to get past - just make noise), but the dancing part gets really repetitive, since it's all controller and not truly interactive like the Wii version. Guess it was worth it though, since I got a free microphone with the game.brandyinindiana
Nice, Toys R Us?
I got the same deal, my girlfriend loves it.
I haven't touched it, do you know if the Mic works with any other games? IE Singstar?

Target, actually. And I would assume the mic works with other games - since it's just a basic logitech USB microphone. I bought the game simply because I hadn't played a karaoke game on the PS2 before, so I really wouldn't know for sure.
If I'm a betting man, it'll work with just about everything EXCEPT Singstar. I seem to remember hearing that those mics, and ONLY those mics, will work with it...and they won't work with anything else.
Bought a few more today...
1. Gun Club (PS2/new)
2. Devil Kings (PS2/new)
3. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (PS2/new)
4. Family Guy Video Game (PS2/new)
5. Dynasty Tactics (PS2/Koei)
6. Oddworld Munch's Oddysee (XB/new/PH's)
7. Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge (XB/new/PH's)
just a few to keep me occupied for a couple days...

That game is pretty solid, I bought it perhaps a few months after Xbox launch and I was really impressed with it. Lightyears ahead of much of whatelse was out at the time.

I was totally psyched about SingStar coming out until I found out about the microphone incompatibility. I've got two nice Logitech mics to go with all the Karaoke Revolution games I have and I just really didn't feel like having to buy and keep track of two more microphones.
I'll probably break down and pick them up eventually; it was just the initial disappointment that soured me to it.
I picked up a few interesting ones today:
Race America, NES, v. fine, loose, $6.95 (tough to find)
Rockin' Kats, NES, n. mint, loose, $14.95 (one more Atlus title off the list)
Speed Racer, PS1, n. mint, complete, $17.95 (an R7 I didn't expect to see in the wild)

[QUOTE="waflerevolution"] exactly why it sucks... it's the first dating sim ever released in the states... and it'll probably be the last :( inkwolf
I know it wasn't a full-fledged dating sim, but Thousand Arms had such elements in it, and it was pretty darn good.
But yeah, some true dating sims would be pretty cool.
Also, it doesnt really count, but Yakuza had some dating sim action (as did San Andreas). But I guess you need to learn JP and get into the import PC game scene to really get into it.

decent.
Persona 3 (PS2) - new but disc and manual only, £14.99 (less than half-price cos the case was missing).
I usually wouldn't go for such a new release in less-than-complete condition, but at that price I can't complain. And since here we didn't get any of the extras like soundtrack/artbook yadda yadda it doesn't matter too much.

great stuff!
This is sort of game-related:
I bought a Logitech Harmony 670 remote. Now I'm wishing my switch boxes were the Pelican System Selector Pro 2's with the little remotes. It's macro programmable and I might be able to finallly use my Nuon.
