Is tidus Emo

But doesnt that still help the argument?, that ff7 characters arent emo?

I wouldn't say they were bland. There was plenty of personality in Cloud, and wesawCloud would sometimes express his feelingsand Barret always has something to say and all, and each character is quite unique from another.DJ-Lafleur

The only reason that she liked him was because he reminded her of Zack. He thought he was Zack. Zack and Cloud are nothing alike. Zack is upbeat and happy. Cloud had no personality in the game and was emo in the moviefs_metal

If you want to start talking about bland characters then you can take your pick from XII, Vaan, Balthier or any other character involved in the game...and how exactly do you come to the point that Cloud is now emo? Just because someone becomes upset doesn't make them emo. I think that if he had no personality and VII characters were bland then Cloud wouldn't be the most well know character throughout the entire FF series and VII wouldn't be the best selling FF game ever.

Master Chief is well known, but you never even learn much about him. He doesn't have much of a personality at all.

If my best mate died tomorrow i would probably be upset for a coupla years too.

and at the end of advent children cloud smiles. In the making of Nobuo Uematsu said that was great, as he has been through a lot of pain and fighting

Mmm, I'm sure they knew each other more than one week. Sure, it's never hinted at on the exact time between their meeting and her death (since it's a game and not in real time), but, logically, I'm sure it's a couple of months at the very least. They've been through a lot. It's kind of Lord of the Rings. The movies are around 9 hours long together, but between the beginning and the end, there is like a whole year inbetween.

And I agree with fs_metal on FFXII characters being some of the best the series has to offer. They are among the most realistic characters RPGs have to offer. No crappy stereotypes. But I disagree with him that Cloud is emo. He is definitely introverted and confused, but not emo. Seriously.

While we're in emo talks, I just want to mention how I hate Criss Angel.
