Adventure!!

Xane looked at the screen.  

"Why is there a screen on the backside of a door on the roof?"  Xane said, "I don't like it.  It's probably a trap." 

Lightning flashed again.  The thing had appeared in front of them.  Not in front of the door, but in the other direction.  It once again looked like everyone's worst fear.  Xane's eyes went wide.

"RUN!" AAAAAAHHHH!!!" Xane said opening the door and walking back through it again. 

"Great..." Jessi muttered as Xane and Leon ran away. She grabbed her Keyblade, and stood in a fighting-stance. "Once you die, I can freakin' go home!" She glared at the creature, and tried not to flinch as it roared, and swiped is bloody claws at her.

Oh crap. Well, at least I've proved myself braver than my allies. She sort of rolled her eyes while she ducked to avoid a swing from the creature's deadly claws. The creature left itself open as it lunged at her. She side-stepped to avoid it, and landed a powerful blow to it's back. It seemed to do some damage, but not as much as Jessi had hoped.

"Hey guys?! Ya wanna come back and help me!?" She spoke as she jumped up at another swipe from the creature's claws. Unfortunately, her timing was just a bit off, and it clawed her leg. "DAMMIT!" She screamed as she landed on the ground, and blood dripped down her leg.

The creature seemed to laugh at her as she gripped her leg with her right hand. She still held her Keyblade in her left hand, however, and was prepared to continue fighting this "thing"

Xane ran back in the house, going through the only door left.  He ran inside and slammed the door behind him, having yet to glance at what was in the room.  A cliche horror film creepiness set in.

"H-hello?"  A resounding roar erupting into being.  Bright red eyes opened in the darkness.  Metal chains wound around the escape.  The creature came out.  It was very wide and lanky.  It had long arms with silver claws on the end.  It didn't seem to have a neck, the head protruding out like a nub.  The whole thing was black, and low on detail besides the bright red, oval eyes.  Xane shot a whip at it, but to his alarm, the creature twisted his arm around the vine, stretching it into a spiral, then untwisted his arm, twirling Xane's vine.  Then creature pulled and a sickening squelch was heard as the vine came off.  Xane yelped in pain, but quickly grew it back.  He tried to send his vines underground and make them come out and trip the monster up, but his legs had the same properties.  Learning quickly, Xane quickly unraveled his vines when they became twisted.

Uh oh 

Oh, crap.

Leon held his breath and decided to engage the creature with the Nailgun-going toe-to-toe with it, even with an upgraded Star Saber, was far too risky. He drew a bead and fired.

The creature roared a bit, angered by the sharp flechette rounds. None of the nails pierced its skin, for some reason.

No effect!? Then I need something bigger...

instantly, creatures(sort of looking like the creatures from I am legend) began swarming the roof and the inside

Now, the team, only subdued to 3, must battle in the most epic of every boss battle they have faced yet

For referance, the black creature it the one thats inside, and the giant one is the one on the roof.

"Zombies?!" Leon exclaimed in shock. "Are you kidding me!?"

Reloading the Nailgun rapidly, he fired a few nails off, killing a few and the armor-piercing nails managed to get a few in a row.

Tecnically, there not zombies, just mutated people!

Hey Des, are you fighting with me or Xane?

Jessi figured it probably would have been a better idea to run, but once this creature died she could go home are forget this happened.

The creature swiped it's long, deadly claws at her face, just she leaned back to avoid it, and tripped over a broken floorboard.

"Where the hell did that come from?!" She cursed under her breath and she rolled to the side as the creature tried to stomp on her with it's giant feet.

"Hey buddy, might do ya good to cut your nails some time." Jessi mocked as she got to her feet and slashed the Keyblade down the creautre's back. Where the blade had sliced through the back of the creature left a thin, but extremely long gash, leading all the way down it's back. Dark green-and-purple blood-like ooze dripped from the wound, and the creature roared in pain, angry, and probably insanity.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I'd be ticked off too if I was getting my ass kicked by a little girl."

Xane laughed inside his mind. These new creatures had no will, so Xane could easily sap their energy for his own use without any interference of their own minds. Xane quickly sapped the energy from the creatures surrounding him, then used it to create a huge energy pulse that he used to snap the black creature's neck, unfortunately it was so flexible this didn't seem to do anything.

"****!" Xane cursed aloud.

Fighting with ya.

"Go, GO!" Leon ordered. He quickly threw a hand grenade, hoping it would at least make the monsters think twice of pursuing them.

The explosive detonated, however it infliced minor injuries to the marauders. Ok, plan B. If I only had a powerful weapon...the Nailgun's running dry and the Star Saber is far too risky to go up against them-those dirty claws look contagious.

Multiple creatures commenced the pursuit, with many being cut down by the flying nails. They knew their target was short on ammo.

Jessi was on the other side of the roof, battling the "giant" creature. She dove to the side as the creature jumped towards her. It missed, thankfully, and landed on the floor Jessi had been only seconds ago.

"That was close." She mumbled, and glanced over to where Leon was fighting the other mutants. "Meh, maybe he didn't run away."

"Uh-oh." She rolled out of the way as the creature tried to stomp her through the floor with it's giant feet. "I still think you should cut your nails." She mocked and got back to her feet.

The creature roared and swiped it's claws at her again, but she ducked in time and slashed it's stomach-area with the Keyblade.

The creature jumped to the side, and stomped it's feet, sending shock-waves through the floor, forcing Jessi to jump over them. The creature planned for that, and, somehow, shot it's claws from it's hand at her.

One claw hit Jessi's arm, and two in her stomach. The other two just barely missed her. She slammed into the floor, and where the claws had hit her it started to bleed.

"Since when did your claws grow back?" She mumbled as the creature grew back it's claws, and stomped towards her.

She quickly grabbed her bow and arrows, and shot three arrows at the creature's head. They seemed to hurt it, but not as much as she had hoped.

The massive beast then turned its attention to Leon. Its fangs dripped with bloodthristy hunger and lust as it glared at him with its multiple eyes.

Oh god, this guy knows no hygiene. Leon thought a bit, trying not to laugh at the fact. Only 130 nails left...oh great.

One of its razor-sharp claws crushed the ground where he stood, but he managed to jump out of the way just in time. In response, he sent another barrage of nails at the beast.

Suddenly, one of the mutant creatures managed to swipe Leon in the arm with its claw, injuring him. The acid from its nails burned his armor, making his scream in the burning pain.

In anger, he crushed the creature in the skull with his Nailgun.

....! The acid blood's eating my arm!

With no choice, Leon was forced to cut his metal arm off with the Nailgun's blade attachment. The acid eventually dissolved the severed arm in a puddle of bubbling corrosive goop.

Man, Zelda would freak out if I did that.

Getting hit with Squirrel's arrows, the creature roared in anger and swiped at Squirrel with it's claws. Missing, thankfully, as Squirrel got back to her feet and used her sword to block more of the creature's claw attacks.

She took a deep breath and jumped in the air, bringing her sword across the creature's face.

"Eww..." She mumbled as the sword tore out one of it's three eyeballs. She creature roared, and sheathed it's claws on one hand so it wouldn't hurt itself while it wiped the purple-and-green ooze-like blood from it's other eyes.

Squirrel took this chance to race around to the backside of the now wounded creature, and land a few swipes with her sword to it's back. Unfortunately for her, the creature turned around too quickly for her timing, and slashed her stomach with it's claws, sending her flying. As she landed on the ground, she drifted in and out of consciousness.

With one of his arms lost, wielding the Star Saber would be near impossible-using it with one arm just made it too difficult.

Damn it. Now what. Only 32 Nails left and I lost one of my arms.

Squirrel's not dead. Sheesh, she just got hit. And you've got to be more realistic with the HP, this battle will take forever the way your going, Pagg.

I did not say JESSE was dead, just not fighting for a bit. Think of more elaborate ways to kill them, and this will go alot faster

Taking cover behind a pillar, he quickly reloaded the last magazine of nails into the weapon, and hoped for the best.

Come on, this better work!

He broke out of his cover and fired at the creature.

The creature fell, was not dead, but fell, hitting the house and crushing the black creature and many other creatures.

Jessi got up a few moments later, and held her head as she remembered what was happening.

"Okay, that hurt..." She muttered, and picked up the Keyblade that had landed a few feet away when she was hit. She got to her feet, and charged at the creature. She stabbed the Keyblade into it's back, and dragged the Keyblade downwards so it had now another huge gash over it's back.

The creature roared, and turned to her, only to get slapped in the face with Jessi's Keyblade, sending it crashing into the floor.

He realized he could attach the Star Saber to his severed arm. Quickly, he reached for the Star Saber with his right hand, drew it, and attached it to the bloody stump of his left arm.

The technological weapon stopped the bleeding and fused with his arm.

Alright. Now let's truly kick some ass. Although I'll have to get used to wielding with the left arm for a while...

He slashed 3 oncoming creatures, and destroyed them like they weren't even there.

Jessi blasted some of the creatures with the Keyblade's energy, then grabbed her bow and arrows instead.

Can't waste all it's energy on these guys. She thought as she fired a few arrows from the bow.

The creatures were scared so the rest of them ran away to breed and gain in numbers

Realizing he was in a different place, he surveyed the area around him. Now where was he?

Green fields? What? Wasn't...

Then he realized it-he was in a different realm. People dressed in green uniforms were headed towards him. Brushing the grass off his feet, he withdrew the sword and powered it down.

This is getting crazier by the moment.

"Uh... Hello?" Jessi looked around. Leon was gone. "Screw him." She rolled her eyes and began searching for Xane. She went down a few floors, and opened one of the doors.

"Oh, there you are, Xane. Did you see Leon? He... disappeared..."

"Hey you!" One of the soldiers barked. "This is royal property! Get outta here unless you want trouble!"

Leon studied their uniforms. Those are the same garbs that Link wore...the last time I saw him. But this doesn't explain it...hmm...

"Are you deaf!? GET OUT!" The guards yelled again.

"Is this how you treat tourists!?" Leon shot back, hoping that will change their mind and make them leave him alone.

They muttered among themselves, and walked away. "Uh, sorry kid!" They waved politely and hurried off.

Strange. He touched the grass gently. "It's real. That means the mansion I was in earlier existed...but this means....I'm in a different universe now! Ok, think positive, positive thinking!"

He saw a rising fortress, and quickly hurried towards it.

"Oh hi Squirrel."  Xane said with a tired smile.  He looked past her.  "Where're Leon?"

Leon stepped into a small town in front of the fortress, and looked around. Outside were train tracks, with people bustling at the station.

Trains? What?

He hurried up to a guard and asked him a question. "Uh...where is this place?"

"Hyrule Castle Town." He responded. "Are you lost or something?"

"But...wasn't it destroyed!?" Leon suddenly replied without even thinking.

"What do you mean?"

"Uh, nothing!" He quickly ran off to avoid suspicion, only to run smack-dab into someone else. "Oh, man, my bad!" He picked himself up, only to see that he had ran into someone who reminded him of a long lost ally.

Zelda!? But why does she look like a cartoon!?

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Err...yes." He replied quickly, hoping not to raise any suspicions. "But...why is everything...cartoony!?"

"Everything is cartoony here!"

"Oh, give me a break..." Leon detached the Star Saber from his left arm, and the stump glowed a bit, with some gore dripping out from the sword. "Ugh. Now I wonder where the hell I am?"

Squirrel sighed. "How would I know? I just said he disappeared. He's nowhere to be found. I checked a bunch of rooms and he's not here."

Squirrel looked behind herself and through the hallway. "It's not like him to run, but hey, he does seem to hate me." So? What else is new?

"Well... should we... look for him?"

Suddenly, the whistle of a train blew, and many individuals filed in from the station.

"Next!" A voice spoke.

"Oh, look!" Zelda exclaimed. "There's Link! Our newest graduate!"

Graduate? In what? Leon quickly wandered over. He realized Link was no longer in his green garb, but in a funny-looking suit. "Link? Is that you!?"

Toon Link smiled and waved. "That's what they call me!"

"Don't you remember me? I'm Leon! You know, your friend!" He grinned a bit, hoping he'll recognize him.

The young man scratched his head. "Doesn't ring a bell. But I've heard something similar about you...I dunno...well...that's what my father told me, but that was like when I was 2 years old."

Leon facepalmed. "Oh man, I must be in a different realm for sure now! What's the date today?" He asked Toon Zelda.

"It's December 31, 2234." She replied.

2234...that's like...I travelled 200 YEARS INTO THE FUTURE!! And here he was, lost forever in a new world...

"It looks like it's time to investigate!" Xane said. He took a magnifying glass out of nowhere and walked around checking for debris. Finally he got to the top floor. There was a huge burn mark on the ground surrounding the shape of Leon's body.

"Gasp! I think Leon was incinerated!"

Looking at himself, he realized his severed arm was back. Wow, time travel does restore lost parts. Wandering up to Toon Link, he grabbed his jacket. "Do you remember me. Look right at me. Does anything seem familiar?"

"Uh....not really."

"Ok, I'm in a new world now."

Suddenly, guards wandered out of the fort, searching for someone.

"Oh no! They must knew I snuck out!" Toon Zelda quickly hid behind Toon Link and Leon. "Tell them you didn't see me!"

"Uh...why?"

"I'll explain later!"

"Excuse me, have you seen a small girl in a pink dress?" The squad leader asked.

"Nope." Leon lied, not hoping to catch any suspicions.

"Double U - Tee - Eff..."  Xane followed the little robot.
