graw 2 if i remember rightly. we get blown up at the end. could be wrong havent played it for a whileflash69
hmmm this is wierd, i was going to say the same thing, and we have the same picture........hmmmmmmmm.
Well anyway, GRAW 2 was some cheesy garbage. You just get blown up and that that guys like,"youre goin home soldier"........HOW LAME IS THAT!?!?!?!
Probably Halo 2. I really, really hate cliffhangers. j3v1zzle
Agreed, i dont think anyone can top that games cliffhanger. It was the most fast unexpected ending ever, for people saying halo3. I strongly disagree it was more like halo1's ending. You blow up halo... the cheif is drifting in space with cortana. Its 'open' to a sequal if bungie wants there to be.
The Darkness, the story is the only reason I hung on in that game and it let me down. (thats the worst 360 ending in my opinion)
Chromehounds was really anti-climatic and considering most of the explanation was in text, it could have been a lot better. I also really disliked the ending for Call of Duty 4. Great game in every other aspect just killing off every major character in the game seemed like you just saved the world for nothing anyway.

the ending of COD 4 might've seemed horrible but it shows the reality that the end of a conflict isnt always gunna be perfect

no, it killed off its charicters in the most horrible way and is trying to cover their own asses with that excuse
mine is assassins creed... it was just weird O_O they totally ruined it by putting futueristic stuff in it
You all fail horribly. The worst game ending EVER was Pitfall: Mayan Adventure!
"Dad!"
"What took you so long?"
You people need to get out and play more games and quite being so predictable. There were worse endings then the one for Assassin's Creed and there were WAY worse ones then Halo 3's.
yeah i never really understood the ending of crackdown? I remember it was a bit crap though hahaphat_frank43in the end of Crackdown [SPOILER..if you really care about a Crackdown spoiler] it turned out that all of the gangs were funded by the Agency. then they let you loose in the city with the task of killing all of the gang bosses as a test for their new genetically engineered super soldiers, of which you were the first, or something to that effect.

You're half right. The agency did fund the gangs, but not to test the super soldiers. They did it becuase it would cuase absolute chaos, whitch at that point they would proceed to save everyone's asses, making everyonehave absolute trust in the agency. They let everything goto hell, then brought it back together with total control over everything. Order out of chaos, a very simple stradegy that every world leader uses when they want more power.

yeah that one was pretty gay
You go through all of that crap just to have your helicopter pilot die and you are stuck in the mall. It made the hole premise of that game (the premise being you have to get the scoop in 72 hours and be on the roof to get away) totally stupid and thrown away.
another ending i thought was bad was the ending to Lost Planet.
You kill the bad guy then loose your memory so its like nothing ever happened. WTF!!
If you ever played Shadow of the colossus then you would agree with me that it has the most "WTF IN THE NAME OF G*D WAS THAT!!!" endings ever. Seriously!MuffinPunk
haha, yeah that wasn't necessarily a bad ending, just a WTF ending.

Yeah, it's basically the 1984-esque ending. As for worst ending, if you actually saw all of Halo 3's ending, you'd understand it's not horrible at all. Personally, no ending that hasn't been mentioned already comes to mind as the worst, but both COD 2 and 3 were pretty weak, granted they didn't have much of a story to begin with.
I think the worst ending was when I got over a million points in guitar hero. Either that or when I beat Sims 2 for the PC. All you get is a real phone number for a girl....it doesn't even work.
best ending: is a tie between CoD4 and bioshock. CoD4 shows people you like and go with you throughout the game with wiil and can die. called reality.
worst: halo 3. three freakin games and i still have a cliffhanger. it's a trilogy people. 3 games. halo 3 should have wrapped everything up . but it didn't and tahts why it will go down as a bad ending.(yes i saw the legendary ending wit teh planent and such boooooooooooooooooooooo)
Crackdown. I can't remember it exactly... but I think after all the trouble you went through, in the end the narrator does this evil laugh and tells you it was all a test of your skills or something, and none of it was real. It's like watching a movie, and in the end the guy wakes up, "it was all a dream." ag1002
yea he tells you that the agency had been supplying the gangs and there the reason why they had gotten so big. then they have you clean them up as a test or something
Assassin's Creed and Bioshock were horrible. Although I HAVE to play Assassin's Creed 2 now...
I also didn't like CoD 4's ending. Not that it was bad, I just don't think they needed to kill EVERYBODY off.
Crackdown was a bad ending, but only because it changed a major part of the game I enjoyed. I liked being the cop, being the good guy. In the end it shifts towards making you the bad guy, the institutor of a police state. I liked playing a sand-box game where I was the good guy for once, it was nice change...until that freaking ending!

How could you not like the endings to AC and Bioshock? AC is the start of a trilogy, and Bioshock's story was flawless. HOW?!?!?!?

You don't get blown up you're just near the explosion. And Cpt. Mitchell doesn't die, he's a General in Tom Clancy's Endwar which is coming out this year.
i was really disappointed with GRAW 2's ending i was like thats it...shouldnt i have to kill a boss or something, i hated AC's lame ending even my wife was like WTF was that crap. elder scrolls 4 was kinda gay too, got some crap gear for saving the world. Mass Effects ending was also kinda poor but im split on that one, i kinda like itjamesallenyz431
Mass Effect's ending was fantastic :|

Did you play Overtime mode? Cuz that's not the full ending d00d

Its not a cliffhanger for the Halo series. Bungies Marathon series from the 90's takes place in the Halo universe but 200 years after 3. And an ex Bungie employee said the main guy from Marathon was actually the chief.
