1. Drew Brees-Arguable, but was one completeion away from breaking Dan Marino's passing yards mark last year, threw 34 TDs and just threw for 6 last Sunday.
2. Peyton Manning-Has been racking up the stats since entering the league, and is a 1st ballot HOF.
3. Tom Brady- Only concern is the pass protection he's getting this year.
4. Phillip Rivers- Had the highest QB rating last year, and tied for the most td passes at 34 last season, but O-Line is weak.
5. Aaron Rodgers- Puts up great stats. should be a force this year.
6. Ben Roethlisburger- A clutch QB that you can depend on. Throws too many interceptions and takes too many sacks, but cluch performances make up for it.
7. Joe Flacco- Best QB Baltimore has seen, and can help Baltimores offence be above average while their defence terrorizes opponents.
8. Tony Romo- Great player but can't even win in December
9. Carson Palmer- Injury concern but can play well.
10. Kurt Warner/Matt Ryan- Warners old and an injury concern, but still good, while Ryan is good but benefits from having a better supporting cast on offence than Flacco.

It's between Brady and Brees for me. Brady has shown he is still the most clutch QB out there, but Brees is putting up some astounding numbers right now.

Brees, Brady, and Manning are in a class of their own. There's a huge gap between them and #4.

Thats really true. As much as I love Rivers, he's by no means in their class. Right now, i think that the only sure fire Hall of Fame QBs are Manning, Brady and Favre, though I'd love to add Kurt Warner to that list as well. However, in two years or even if he leads the Saints to the Super Bowl, I feel that Brees can be added to that list, and in 3-6 years, Rivers and Roesthlisburger will be in consideration as well.

Brees!!!  Are you kidding me?  Alex Smith could do well in that offensive system, who knows what would happen if Flacco was in it.

I should have said Peyton but I put down other to back up my boy Romo.

Had to go Brady. I hate the Pats, but that guy has a golden horseshoe up his a$$.

Roethlisberger would come after. Yeah, he's a little sloppy at times, but he gets the job done when it needs to be done.

Not based on fantasy stats:

1. Brees...for same reasons as stated
2. Big Ben...all he does is win and do comebacks
3. Peyton...best on field coach this generation
4. Brady...more comebacks than losses in his career
5. Rivers...best kept secret among great QB's
6. Romo...needs to win late in season, but has been great in first 12 games of the year
7. Rogers...great year, needs to prove it again
8. Ryan...same as Rogers, but not as good numbers
9. Cutler...all the talent, none of the brains...if he can pull it together though
10. Warner...so old, but still good

11. Flaco...good for a rookie, but not that great in comparison to others

Plamer...had 2 great seasons...other than that NOTHING special
-bad knee, bad arm = it's over

I am very, very disgusted with anyone putting Brees over Brady. And Big Ben too? Sickening. Now with that said, did I actually see "Alex Smith could do good in that offense" as to discredit Brees? WTF!?!?! Did you see who Brees was throwing to last year when he nearly broke Dan Marino's single season passing yards record? Alex Smith is capable of that? Get real dude.

Brees has never had the supporting cast or defence that Big Ben has. He can't do it by himself. He pretty much carried the Saints for the past three years.

Big Ben and his 2 Super Bowls and tons of comebacks at the bottom...really?
Below 1 year starter Aaron Rogers
Below no playoff victories Romo (and I am a Cowboy fan)
Below 85 year old Kurt Warner

Big Ben is not an elite QB as of yet in my eyes. He is very close, i want to see him win a few shootouts without his Defense helping him then i'll be convinced.

He did several times...like the superbowl game, the Steelers defense only made one play the whole game, Fitz was all over that defense.

When your defense carries you to the game and all you have to do is not make mistakes and your going to tell me he's better than someone who carries his team without any help from the people on the other side of the ball.  Keep it up Lou.

That's what's holding them back on offense.

McNabb??? Seriously?

Yes, seriously. He is an extremely underrated QB, and this is coming from a hardcore Cowboys fan. He puts the ball where it needs to be, even when it looks impossible. He's good in the pocket, he's good scrambling, he's good throwing down field, he's good throwing short. The rest of the team plays a huge part but he still stands out. Look at all he's done in his career. How many number one receivers has he had to throw to? One and he nearly won the Super Bowl. Put McNabb on the Steelers, Saints, Colts, Giants or Patriots and he's have some rings. He's right up there as one of the best today.

I can't tell if you are agreeing or not...but the steelers have not had a good running game since Bettis left.
-Big Ben does have a good D though.

McNabb is good...if healthy...huge if...always hurt.
Plus he can't win the big one.

And McNabb is great when healthy. If he had a top wide receiver, he'd win the big one.

You mean, like T.O.?

Just being a sarcastic a-hole.  McNabb is good...if he's, wait, we've done this already.

As a Cowboys fan it pains me yet elates me to say that Randall Cunningham is my favorite QB all time.

I was agreeing.

And McNabb is great when healthy. If he had a top wide receiver, he'd win the big one.

LOL! Gotta agree with Burton here. WTF!?!?!?! My favorite all time QB is a toss up between Roger Staubach and John Elway. Obviously, my favorite Cowboys QB is Roger.

[QUOTE="Bobbles"]I am very, very disgusted with anyone putting Brees over Brady. Get real dude.CWEBB04z

If anything, Big Ben is better than Brees...2 Superbowls > 0 Superbowls

Brees may not have a Superbowl ring, but at least he doesn't have to pay off the ref to win superbowls, both actully, everyone cane say that I'm still living in the past but the Seahawks, and the Cardinals, were screwed in the two superbowls.

But to get back on topic it should go, Brees, Brady(As much I hate to say that), Eli, Ryan, Payton, Big Ben, Rivers, Collins, Palmer, Flacco.

I think at the end of the season and pretty much when it is all set and done the best QB of all time will be Brady over Manning. 3 Superbowl wins over 1 (As it stands now) is a huge factor to me. Manning might have his MVP's but Brady got an MVP too and 2 Superbowl MVP's :) Perhaps Im biased lol that is just how i feel.

After your stupid post about Madden having better ratings than NFL 2k games in the sports games discussion forum (while its obviously not true, if you use your eyes and your brain, something you may not be familiar with) and now this, saying somehow Superbowl wins is the ultimate way to measure the quality of a QB, I officially hate you :) . So yes, not only you're biased, but your arguments are worthless too. You winz teh internetz sir.

Now I think that if your going to compare one Manning from another, then say who your talking about, I believe your ment to say Payton Manning, and not Manning, but I really already said who I thought was the best IMHO. :)
