THIS is exactly what I'm talking about. Nobody needs to hear from you because you really have nothing intelligent to say. Oh, wait you heard your name being mentioned and just had to reply with a weak response right? only a matter of time before you slip up again and the mods get rid of you for good and I'm sure you'll provide them with a good reason in the near future. Your immaturity will be your downfall and with your post you only prove me right.
WTF happeped[/QUOTEIt seems a few people have taken issue with who I picked as my top ten QBs for 2009 and quite frankly the whole thing is just really out of hand. It's nice to see Goliath_unit get things back on track with what this is supposed to be all about. It shows maturity where othesr lack it. Something very simple turned into something complicated and what makes me laugh is it doesn't make sense! just take a look at darth revans 666 responses and you'll see what I mean. He's basically screaming for attention! he doesn't like who I picked so now he has to show out and basically say "please, someone look at me" bobbles is utterly confused (guess the screenname fits) with the difference between slurring people with mental disabilities and simply defending yourself when someone bad mouths you for no good reason and espurs it goes without saying. He decided to bad mouth me and my thoughts on my favorite NFL player LT and so I dish it back to him, he can't take it, and goes crying to the union leader over the whole debate. Everybody has their own opinion and there is no need to slam someone just because your opinion doesn't match yours. All I can say is-WHATEVER.

Also, you messaged Wally, I didn't. Want Wally to clarify? You also messaged me crying about how your life sucks right now and why you got angry over the internet. I will be honest, I laughed. I took the time to come back and post this because it is important for you to realize how much more awesome I am than you.

Fine. Lets use the season stats.
Bens 1887 passing yards > Brees 1400 passing yards. Even though Brees had a bye, he would have to throw 487 yards to match Ben.
And BTW last years stats:

Brees: 5069 passing yards, 34 TDs 17 INTs

Lmao, you want them to both throw the same amount of passes unless it favors your argument. This year Ben has 209 passing attempts and Brees only has 159, he's need 50 in that bye week to equal Ben. Let's say Brees threw the ball 209 times at his current Y/A, then he'd have 1880 yards throwing. That's 7 less then Ben, big deal. Let's look at their TDs thrown as well as INTs. Brees has 13 TDs this year to Ben's 10 (and he has one less game played). Brees has 2 INTs this year to Ben's 6 INTs (granted, once again, Brees has one less game played). Brees>>>Ben.Oh and here's a comparison of the passing defenses each QB has played this year:
Ben:
Titans- 31st ranked
Bears- 20th ranked
Bengals- 22nd ranked
Chargers: 12th ranked
Lions- 27th ranked
Browns- 10th ranked
Brees:
Lions- 27th ranked
Egals- 4th ranked
Bills- 6th ranked
Jets- 8th ranked
Giants- 1st ranked
Hmm, looks like Brees has played better passing defenses thus far. Once again, Brees>>>Ben.

Tom Brady really doesnt put up big numbers in the regular season, he didnt even throw more than 30 TDS in a season until '07 but since he has 3 superbowls, hes been on the top list.
Ben is 8th all-time in NFL passer rating (90.9), 7th in yards per attempt (7.97), and 7th in completion percentage (63.3%) with a minimum of 1500 career attempts, has thrown 3 perfect games, and 2 Superbowl Wins.
Brees has a passer rating of (90.6), (7.3) yards per attempt, a completion percentage of (64%),
Pretty close imo

I am always going to say Brady #1 (I'm a homer like that) but are you saying that Big Ben is better than Peyton Manning then? Ben 2 > Manning 1? I'd take Manning over Ben any day of the week.
I think that I'll just agree to disagree. We'll never convince CWEBB that Brees is better than Big Ben and vice versia.
What do you guys think of Peyton Manning's play this year? He is playing the best football of his career and some of the best QB play ever. He's my early canidite for MVP, by a landslide. Given that the Chargers likely won't win the Super Bowl, I'm pulling for the Colts to win it this year.
Had to go Brady. I hate the Pats, but that guy has a golden horseshoe up his a$$.
Roethlisberger would come after. Yeah, he's a little sloppy at times, but he gets the job done when it needs to be done.

It is criminal to mention QBs and now throw in Brady especially if you throw in Big Ben.
As for Peyton Manning, i think this will be like his many years before, great stats great season, but a team in the playoffs will beat them. I think that year they won the Superbowl was the peak of the team, not Manning though he still peaking. But if they do make it there I wouldn't be surprised.

I really don't think those stats say everything. Remember when he threw the pick against the Titans, and when he threw it he just looked motivated to destroy that Titans D, and he did? Incredible. He's also done it with the loss of Harrison and Anthony Gonzelez (for several weeks). He makes his receivers look great, not vise versia.
Roethlisberger has done well, but he's been behind in a lot of games so he's had to throw more than he usually would. Plus, I'm not destorying his entire season based on that one game, but he nearly threw quite a few costly picks.
Also, Manning actually doesn't have a great offensive line, yet he rarely takes sacks and he performs remarkably. I'd definetly take Manning, hands down. Brees, Roethlisburger and Brady do deserve consideration, but Manning deserves it the most. This is the finest he's ever played, and he deserves MVP (and a Super Bowl Ring).

I got a good question.
Is this year Peyton Manning playing better than the Manning that threw for 49 TD's? I think he is since he is doing it without a great Marvin Harrison and pretty much with Pierre Garcon, Collie and whoever they throw in opposite to Reggie Wayne.
Ben 3 TD passes against one of the best defenses in the league
Brees 1 against the struggling panthers.

Broncos pass defence is wearing down since they're all old. They're on the decline.
Panthers just came off game where they intercepted Warner 5 times. Also, Brees threw for 330 yards, while Roethisburger threw for 233, and while Brees completed just three more passes than Roethlisburger.
