Am I the only one that dislikes Anime?

does the extremely long wait times in some of the animes bother you guys. i dont wanna sit around wasting my time listening to people scream. I just stopped liking it for some reason. Unknown to me of course. I just started picking out all the annoying aspects and i cant find many good ones. I think it's my selective watching. once i start to dislike something, my liking for it collapses.bionicle_lover

Heres the thing, I've only seen that in 2 animes. Dragonball and street fighter 2 v. Theres anime for everybody. Most people who bash it haven't seen but little exploration into what anime can be and is. Its not just one tone. Do yourself a favor and watch a show called hellsing, but not hellsing ultimate. You probably won't think the same of anime as a whole after that.

*And by the way, I'm very surprised this topic is so long. 16 pages of talk about anime on the wii forum. Kindof got hijacked too, since we're supposed to be talking about anime in games*

Yeah... that's a downside to anime...

I can't wait for an anime series where it takes someone 15 episodes to walk downto a store at the end of a street.

Oh no no I'm not talking about hentai! I'm sorry! I was talking about good anime with a higher rating than naruto for example I mean where they include more violence etc. I think it has better stories

ive seen gundam a long time ago, probably 5 years or so. it was interesting but i was too young and i didnt care for storylines. ive seen dragonball but it got too long and did you notice that enemies get harder based on the distance of their planet from earth? we are so egocentric lol. One more thing is some of the fighting. i know its cool to some people but it's not my type of action i guess. I used to like it though. now as for the hellsing one, i dont think ill waste my time watching it (waste as in it probably wont change my mind so im not going to bother. im not saying its bad. from the praise ive been reading it'll probably have more action than some of those crap battle with huge things colliding and taking a few minutes to phase through each other)

Am I the only N fan that dislikes anime??? I would absolutely love trauma center if they gave it a more realistic style. I would like a surgery sim. I feel that it would also fit the more adult casual market very well. For instance, I could see my Mom/dad getting into a medical game, if it wasn't for that strange (imo) art design and rediculous soap opera dialogue. Not tryin to dis on fans of the series. It's just not my style. I do actually like the gameplay quite a bit.

Who else feels the same way?

totally agree, BTW anime is part of Japan's modern culture and Nintendo is a Japanese company, So expect more anime-style games.

and BTW for all those people who said that anime is childish. I'd like to ask them, have you watched "Death Note" "Berserker"or "Samurai X trust and betrayal" because these are definitely not for children and they won't understand the story anyway.

One more thing is that RPG games based on anime are the best like "Chrono trigger" "Super mario RPG (Snes)" and"Fire Emblem" and if you people happennot to like these games, I think you won't dislike "StreetFighter" which is anime based.

Uhh.....No....I can't say I agree with the "Mario, Metroid ......and SSB is Anime. There is another term for what they are, the Anime that I think of ....when someone says Anime....is Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon.....Pokemon, Digimon,.....Yu gi oh! ....you follow? A know I'm not narrow minded, I'm not an Anime guy! But I still can't classify those games as Anime! There is a distinct difference between Mario, Metroid, SSB, etc....and Dragon Ball Z, and Pokemon, etc! Yes, I know they are Japanese, but they are in a different genre. Now, games that you can compare and classify as Anime are the Turn based RPG's, and such.........and Mario RPG dosen't count,....is still not Anime. At least not in my book. If you know a better way to explain......lay it on me. And give proof if Mario and Metroid are Anime.......cause honestly I don't see the resemblence?!
