So Nintendo Power gave it a 90?
Hmm
Mertistation 9, Nintendo Power 9, Vandal Online 9, ONM 8, some other reviewer 7.5, and ign 7
hmm, three 9's.....
I think it has the best online for the Wii.

i thnk everyone who owns it agrees with you, or thinks its one of the best, just like Me!

I do. The graphics online are some of the best I've seen on the Wii, though some maps are better than others. The clarity is great.[QUOTE="darth-pyschosis"][QUOTE="tpsy0"]

off topic: woah woah woah slow down here.
Did three ppl who own the game actually say they like it, and form opinions based off their time playing it?????? Where's DarthSamus we need a quartet! (Btw DarthSamus i'm waiting to be online at the same time as you!)
i just don't know what to believe anymore,....lol

LOL. All I know is I got it yesterday and have played it for 12 hours so far, and didn't get sick of it ONCE. The feel is so much better then World at War..
I LOVE the custom controls. I played around with them for like an hour. haha.
Favorite maps? well, I like Wet Work first off, cause I just go over to their side and destroy the whole team..lol..District, Strike, Vacant, well to be honest, I like them all EXCEPT Shipment.
Hey, I'm a bit interested in this game and I got a few questions to ask before I decide to get it or not so hopefully someone could help me out here.
1) How is the online? This is the most important aspect to me because a laggy online is terrible for games like these.
2) If you played the original version before, do you feel like this game was a huge downgrade, about the same, or an upgrade? Mostly interested in variety ofli modes here.

I don't think I've even played them all yet, but so far there aren't any I don't like. They are all pretty even to me at this point, but I've only been playing for maybe 5 hours or so. I'm more worried about perfecting my controls right now (if there's something to tweak, I have to tweak it). If MWii is any indication, CoD 7 will be insanely good. I hope they can add 4 more players to the online -- the graphics are at a decent level as is so I just want more players for increased intensity.

Well, I can only answer number one for ya. The online is REALLY good. The whole time i've been playing it, I've never saw anything less then green bars for my connection reception.
Are there custom controls online? I heard on someone's youtube review that they reset when you play online.OreoMilkshake
Yeah, this one thing I was wondering.. Cause I started the Campaign, and went back into online, and my control's were all different? I was real confused about that.. Still trying to figure it out. And my bad, when I said custom control's, I meant like, the sensitivity, camera speeds, ADS reach, and all that stuff.. but I don't understand why they changed?

just thought i should say... hey darth samus, you might as well remove that "official sticky" from the title, and put "official thread", since it's been "downgraded" :PBrunoBRS
Done and done.

Wait, so are you saying that your control configurations reset every time you get online?:?
fun fact: counter strike was banned in brazil because the guy who banned it thought drug dealers used it as "war simulation to practice their attacks".Also, not to sound horrible or anything, but a thought occured to me the other day while playing MW2 at my friend's. I wonder if terrorists actually play games like COD4 or MW2? Planning, and strategizing together. It's so realistic.... I might be thinking too deep, but it wouldn't surprise me

a couple years later someone realizes how stupid it was and the game's back on the shelves... unfortunately (stupid old game, i hate you >.>)

1. best online FPS on Wii, best on Wii IMO. no lag whatsoever i've logged 5 hours + into online so far and i've experience no framerate or lag issues online
2. i beat the original on PS3 and its the same. all the same content, the same immersive voice overs, the same immersive character death animations, just wii graphics not a huge downgrade
i can't stand playing FPS on the dualshock, so control wise its an upgrade to me
all the maps and modes from the other versions
yeah this game definitely offers the best online experience on the Wii.... hands down
I actually haven't even played the single player campaign because I've been online since 12:15am 11-10-09 lol. I'm addicted! I'm not sure if the controls change or not, but it wouldn't surprise me.
If you like FPS, and enjoy them on the Wii.... this game is for you. Online is competitive, and the controls are pretty good too. I actually messed mine up the other night, and over-adjusted them too much. Now it's too sensative and I'm getting my butt kicked. Have to go back and re-tool them
isnt there a "cancel adjustments" or "test" or "back to default" option? this should come in handy in games with customized controllers... maybe even a brawl-like "save your control scheme and name it".yeah this game definitely offers the best online experience on the Wii.... hands down

it's just that apparently many games are throwing "fully customizable" controllers but they dont let more than one control setup to be saved... making it kinda hard to... well... share the game with someone else at home.I think I might actually buy the game tomorrow once I get off work since I am so eager to play.......I will post my friend code later. Prepare to get owned when I'm online:)gamefan67
You better buy it! Do it and do it tomorrow! I'll be looking for your fc buddy ;)

Yeah this is true. They don't "reset", but your offline controls don't transfer to online. They are on on default until you chang them.Same for the reverse. It basically saves both an online and an offline control file. So if you change one you'll have to change the other.

Well, try it out but some people are claiming the settings carry through to the multiple profiles (I saw the posts after I wrote the original statement). If true, it would be a really bad impementation.[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"]that's what i meant. good to know that option exists. when i said "share a game" i meant share "the" game, not the file[QUOTE="psychobrew"] Why would you want other people to play with your profile? Well, try it out but some people are claiming the settings carry through to the multiple profiles (I saw the posts after I wrote the original statement). If true, it would be a really bad impementation. i think it was more like "online sometimes give you default if you dont do *insert whatever posters above did to solve the problem*" than "control settings aren't individual per profile". but it's not like i'll buy this game, much less share it with my brother who barely touches the videogame now.Reflex is actually pretty good games....the controls and hit detection are so much better than WaW's. My only complaint is that the cursor for scope weapons moves a little slow (even with the sensitivity and other crap up) the only way to really remedy said situation that I had found out was to just switch the scope aiming style to analog(thumbstick I forgot what it is called). So far that is my only complaint, but this is just from online (which is a blast). Easily the Wii's best online game since Mario Kart too bad their is no Wiispeak:(gamefan67
Glad to hear it's good. I really need to pick this game up.:P
By the way, do you think you'll be playing The Conduit at all now that you have Reflex?

Lol it is okay guys. TCon is not a bad game. I just dont like owning a lot of FPS's because they all wont get a lot of playtime. Once I started playing World at War again I never even touched TCON (too many glitchers and horrible framerate). @ Darth-Samus - I added you on Reflex. Hopefully you come on so I can pwn you:P Or we can pwn some other newbs:lol:gamefan67
lol Yeah, I understand. That is why I'll never buy a 360 in my life.
By the way, when you invite other Friends to your games, can they pick to be on the same team as you? That's something that wasn't available in The Conduit, and frustrates me to this day.:P

By the way, what's your favorite weapon?
Right now my favorite weapon is a tie between the MP5 (red dot sight) and the M21 (semi-auto rifle). But my favorite gun in Modern Warfare (PS3, and 360) was the G3 with a Red Dot Sight. You should definitely get the game so we can pwn some newbs:P.gamefan67
Cool beans.
Well...I might be able to get it this coming Saturday if luck decides to come onto my side, but only time will tell. I'll try to get the game as soon as possible.:)
