The trailer was really well done, but I am worried that the gameplay is too similar now. A huge plus is that there was no evedence of those mini game jobs.
The graphics seemed to get theBIG upgrade though. Looks amazing. Just take a gander at some of the scenery while he fights!I might have to rent this first as I despised the first game.
while I agree visual wise there isn't improvement, gameplay wise the action looks alot more amazing. It seems smoother, faster, the story still looks insane while still managing to become a bit more serious. And the dual wielding still gets me =Pdonaldo1989na gameplay seems the same but i agree wit u on the rest
A huge plus is that there was no evedence of those mini game jobs.PikminmaniacWhy is everyone so down on them? I thought they were hilarious. If I recall rightly, even Yahtzee Croshaw thought they were on of the highlights of the game. If it's open-world, then it's going to have little missions like that.
I can't wait. But from what I saw from that trailer,I really, really, really hope the voice speaking at the beginning isn't Henry, because it sort of sounds like Henry (a very angry one) to me.If it is Henry, that would positively and completely ruin the defining moment of No More Heroes to me.
[QUOTE="clicketyclick"][QUOTE="MonsieurX"]/droolMonsieurXtrust me, the drooling won't end with your post. :PYours? And I should finish NMH fist ;\ lol, i just said that because you're using BB code. Like [/DROOL]. :P And ya, finish the bloody game!!!! Now! Go! I'm sick of having to use spoiler tags when I talk about it because of people like you!
Screens: Holy, I'm excited.Haziqonfire
The game looks signficantly better, which is great. One of the disappointments of the original No More Heroes (as unique as it looked regardless) was that it didn't match the excellent, crisp look of the very first trailer of the game; this appears to be closer to that original look.

Yeah you're right. I never really bothered to think about that - I'm also guessing this will not be using Wii MotionPlus, because of the dual wielding. Who knows though, Suda did say he'd like to use it but hadn't tried it yet.[QUOTE="VGobbsesser"][QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Screens: Holy, I'm excited.Haziqonfire

That vid looked crisp because it was a cut-scene, all prerendered and stuff. It wasn't gameplay footage. When that trailer was first revealed though, most people weren't impressed with it. Pretty much everyone thought the voice acting was awful and was destined for poor dubbing. And NMH2 doesn't look at all like the visual styIe represented in that trailer. There are more details to the character models and the shadows aren't so harsh. In NMH and that trailer, it was either coloured or it was black shadow. In NMH2, there are shades of grey to the shadows, which makes it look less harsh and more detailed. The game looks signficantly better, which is great. One of the disappointments of the original No More Heroes (as unique as it looked regardless) was that it didn't match the excellent, crisp look of the very first trailer of the game; this appears to be closer to that original look.

I liked them too, I hope they make a comeback XD
See the TC's sig. Those are my highlights of the trailer :) And the game seems to be supercharged from the last one...

Then make them more varied and give them longevity. I liked the addition but I did not like the long term execution, they got old fast. So taking GTA as an example, they should make them as compelling as those mini games. Besides that I thought that Yahtzee was not to be taken seriously.

You only do each one once! Yahtzee is awesome! There are excellent points behind the humour. He's very critical, but that doesn't mean he has nothing to say of value. Anyway even the most critical reviewer found them enjoyable - they actually redeemed the game for him in a way.

If they are going to have those, they need to be more compelling and fill up the open world which was quite barren. Don't mark me as one of those people who hate this game, TBH its one of my most favorite games this gen for very different reasons.
See whenever I point out something that is blatantly untrue with what Yahtzee says someone tells me not to take it seriously. I realize he is hilarious and I watch all his stuff, its just annoying he gets a free pass when he gives an outrageously untrue comment about a game. Motion controls being one of them.
