Official Pokemon Heart Gold And Soul Silver Thread

I personally reckon that the lokemon following thing is stupid unless they take the entire game to full 3D (although i dont like this idea either) but im still gonna get this game

For some reason, I like the Gold/Silver pokemon better. I'm going to try to get it when it comes out. Hm.. my favorite part about this game is where you can get that guy to make you pokeballs out of berries.

Thanks a lot! This kind of makes me want to pre-order the 12th movie... Then again it might just be for Japan (or not).

Riding a skateboard would've been a cool change... But the touch control menus are an excellent addition!

Does anyone know if we will be able to go to Kanto in the remake like in the original? That would be awesome, but that would be like two remakes in one... And they already remade red/blue.rubber-chicken

I'm not completely sure that the new girl is a different character.

It's not the first time they changed the hair color of a character. Firered/leafgreen

Red's hair color and outfit changed. And the overall style was changed by making him less angular.

Also Green, Leaf, or whatever you want to call kanto's girl had brown eyes in her concept art but blue eyes in the game.

So, lets take crystal.

Strip her.

Give her a new shirt, overalls, a new hat, and a large yellow purse.

Now lets change her hair color to brown

And then Make her hair less angular.

Finally draw her concept art with the wrong eye color.

What you end up with is the supposedly new girl.

My point is that the new girl was at least inspired by crystal.

The only things that are the same about them is their gender and their hair-do(sort of).

I would be absolutely content if they dropped Kanto and fleshed out Johto a little more. I would like to see a pokemon league that's specific to Johto, amoung other things. Or, in other words, maybe I want a game set in Johto, and not necessarily a GS remake. I didn't like any of the actual changes they made to Kanto. No Safari Zone, Veridian Forest, Final Dungeon, Pokemon Tower, or Cinibar island. Well, that's my thoughts on that.

Well I'd consider it an insult to the DS's power If they didn't add more. But will they add more to johto, to kanto, will it have the sevii islands, or a whole new area.

I've always wondered what's north of johto and kanto, Besides mountains.

Yeah I know, she's called blue sometimes because that's her name in the japanese version of the manga. In the american version her name is green though, and gary is blue. I just saw a site calling her game counterpart leaf. Darn it! these characters have too many names!

Maybe they'll make a crystal remake specifically for the DSi. Thats kind of what they did with the first Gold/Silver making it exclusive to the GBC.riariases

The DSi doesn't do anything different except the camera and music player, both of which I do not want in the game

The Pokemon game will play on all the versions of the DS

I hope you can evolve Pokemon like Gligar and Murkrow before you get the national dex.

Another reason was because of it's large protruding lips, which is a black stereotype.

There's also some new photos of the game on Serebii. Nothing too revealing, although the touch screen menu is apparently still brought up by the X button.

One of the pictures shows Totodile following Gold, too!

Give me the game now I wantesd this forever. Also a pokeon game where you could play in all the regions.

I don't see the remakes bringing as much new content to the series as the original Gold and Silver did (obviously, they're remakes) but they should still be fun nonetheless. I haven't really had too much fun with the series since G/S/C, Platinum wasn't too bad.
