I heard that HeartGold and SoulSilver was being released in Japan at the tenth anniversary of the originals. If that is true, then it will be released in NorthAmerica: October 15, 2010, Austrailia: September 4, 2010 and Europe: April 6, 2011. It wouldn't be fair if everyone but Japan doesn't have to wait till its anniversary to get it and Japan is the ones making the games. :|

I do kind of agree with you, but, i don't think they're gonna make it that special and would be more appealing for the large fan base of Pokemon gold and silver to release them internationally ASAP. I am actually kinda thinking with the faster rate of transferring Pokemon games I mean with platinum it was only 8 months, 1 week and 2 days from japan to Europe! the dates become closer together every time. in D/P, it was almost 10 months! If you're right, I will admit I was wrong, and not go in denial about my opinion, but for the time being we cannot tell, so we'll just wait and see;)

The pokemon will only follow at the beginning of the game, if you remember in Pokemon G/S you couldn't catch any pokemon until you talk to prof elm after your Rival got his pokemon.warumonoLS

I just want to reiterate my excitement for these games: I'm super excited!

I'm definitely getting both versions. I need them. Badly. I hope they release soon in Japan so they release quicker everwhere else.

Jinx's redesign was because of the huge amount of complaints. It was considered a black stereotype, so they had to change the skin color.

That's like the only major redesign so far.

The DSi doesn't do anything different except the camera and music player, both of which I do not want in the game

How do you know? It really wouldn't be that bad if they made a crystal remake specifically for the DSi because it would help Nintendo's sales out a bit and DS/ DS Lite owners wouldn't suffer because Heart Gold and Soul Silver would be out.

Check back the last few weeks in here and there's a nice thread explaining how the people throwing out all the buzzwords about the DSi's extra power have no idea how that power would be used to make more advanced games because it can't.

Also Nintendo would be epically stupid to have over 100 million users and exclude them from their most powerful franchise

It can do somethings that the DS Lite can't, but only one of them are compatible with Pokemon(usage of all security encryptions). But that seems more like a DSi-Enhanced feature rather than an Exclusive one.

The game is looking gorgeous at the moment. They added 3D animations for when you pick the starters, the

look and feel will be like D/P/Pt but much better as I see it. I'll be definitely getting Soul Silver, adding it to

my collection of Diamond and Platinum.

I hope that you get at least other Pokemon to follow you instead the starters or specific (cute) Pokemon. Me

being a blind fan of Growlithe and Arcanine, I'd love to see them following me around. :D But I wonder if they

done new sprite animations for when your starter Pokemon evolves and its following you. That would be great.

Overall the is looking mighty fine and you have the possibility to trade Pokemon from D/P/Pt and the GBA games.

the reason im keen for this game is because platinum was good and gold and silver a my favs so soul silver and heart gold are going to be like an outcome of great sex between them and theres a new video with totadile following gold around at slowpoke well.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver??? OMG this is freaking awesome!!!! Definetly will be a must buy for me. The Johto and Kanto pokes were the best. (rby/saph had some ok pokes, and diamond/pearl all sucked except for Lucario. Garchomp,Mesperit, and Roserade) This will probably be the last pokemon game i get. Unless the new generation they come out with actually is good. Diamond/Pearl had really good Storylines (other than the whole team galactic goons being dum*****[not including cyrus]), but their new generation pokes sucked except for the above listed.bisonfan2010

I mean, its ok, kanto had some cool pokes... but come on... jinx? mr. mime? qwilfish? hitmontop? GASTLY (no really, the thing is a floating ball)? lol.

I believe this happen because most people are charmed by the first two generations pokemons (maybe because the anime, due to the fact that it went a bit downhill from the third generation.), i mean, who doesn`t like to use charizards? My bet is all because of the ash`s charizard from the anime. (it had a bad guy attitude and when you see it, expect some amazing battles.)

Charizards are indeed so common, that i see them very often when i battle. Luckily my team is made to kick those guys butts, so when they show up, they almost instantly die. :lol:

People should look more often into the new ones. You may figure some unseen forces between them. :roll:

If they are going to make DSi enhancements then it would be a DSi-Enhanced game card. A card that plays on all DS systems, but has more features when played on a DSi. Nintendo would lose a lot of money if they made it only for the DSi, since for now the DS Lite owners outnumber the DSi owners by quite a bit.

bak to pokemon generations tho personally my favs were 2nd gen because they looked the most natural i no that sound weird and if u get mii cool but one thing about 1st gen is a lot of really randoms ideas like mr mime, jinx, magmar with his bum chin fore head, machoke and machamp with there undies, and i no many love blastiose but comon it has guns coming out of its shell which make no sence, jigglypuff was annoying, koffing and weezing would be extinct because as soon as a ponyta touched it fireworks are gona be on and i think im makin my point some are random and make no sence but then theres some that i could find in a park cause they so un creative i think most of us love them because they the originals and started one of the biggest gaming franchises. and yes i agree wif u disin 4th gen i mean y wod u even show ur idea of a pokemon if it looked anywere near as bad as purugly or kriketune if it were mii i'd be imbarrassed.

The remakes look great but I hope they didn't change waytoo much of the game though from the old Silver and Gold games.
