You're certain that Link will only be right-handed in Skyward Sword, but it's possible that future Zelda games will use motion controls (why wouldn't they? it's like totally awesome :P).

You keep mentioning official art work from old Zelda games, but that still doesn't prove your point of why Link always have to be a lefty. That's the past. This is now AND the future.

Fans should be discussing stuff like gameplay, story, dungeon designs/bosses, etc not something as insignificant as which hand Link should hold his sword.
It would be nice if there was an option for left-handed users, but the entire game might be mirrored for Link to be left-handed. Just like how they mirrored Twilight Princess for the Wii. Would Nintendo risk the money and time to make 2 different copies of the same game on the same console just to please the minority?

It don't have to be mirrored.

But in any case,nothing is certain,they may,or may not make motion-controlled Zelda games in the future.

This is such a pointless argument, Im sure its been said MANY times before, but THIS IS A DIFFERENT LINK!!! Every version of Link has something different about him. Link has had several different eye and hair colors, why arent you complaining about that. Why is it such a big deal that one version of Link happens to be right handed? In fact given the statistics, It is more likely that Link would be right handed considering the left/right hand ratio in the world.

He's been iconised and recognised as a lefty,so it's really wrong to do that.

He's officially left handed.

It doesn't matter if the game is gonna rock,that has nothing to do with the fact that it's wrong and weird,and for the wrong reasons.

Just so players feel they are Link? they ALREADY think they are Link! you're the player,not Link!

Nintendo should never do this again.

Complaining that Link uses his high hand over his left is like complaining about the change in the name of the building that you go to to save your RPGs.

It is a detail that shouldn't matter that much as long as the game itself is flawless,which it will be, because it is ****ing Zelda, they are almost always perfect.

Bottom line: Gameplay will always reign over a stupid novelty. Link is not real. Zelda is not real. Hyrule is not real. None of them are sacred entities that cannot be altered. All these supposed "facts" can instantly be changed if the developers feel like it. Hell, Miyamoto could backtrack and say Link was always a righty if he wanted, and then what would the TC's "argument" boil down to? The only people I feel bad for are actual lefties, but here's hoping there is an included option for you folks.

I'm a lefty myself and this doesn't bother me as much as it's eating some of you in here.

WM+ is an excuse, but utilizing the wiimote in your other hand is 100 percent do-able. i've used my controller in both my left and right hand.

if that's seriously going to keep you from being able to play the game then you, in complete honesty, suck pretty bad
