Those are the only three jokes in an entire Rocky-themed episode of Shin-Chan that wasn't a sex joke. Those translators really have a liking for inappropiate material (and Starmen apparently).

Note to others: Jaysonguy is not always right, even if I did help the Nelsen ratings of that episode by turning all four TV's on during those 30 minutes.

That's before Netflix was shown and before Square came out and said they're making 4 games for the 360 and one of them is Final Fantasy 13. The 360 is looking like the second best RPG system right behind the DS.

The music games were blah, not interested that much, they'll always be a "pick one up on a slow week of gaming" purchase.

Yeah. I've owned a Wii for a while now, and it's been great. But the 360 is really starting to get some fantastic titles, and the Wii still doesn't have a whole lot other than the expected exclusives (zelda, mario, brawl, etc.).

EDIT: Awww crud...I just saw that Dead Rising is Japan only as of now...

Yeah, people say that about Christmas being over too but it doesn't make it suck any less.

Like E3 is a great time of year when you check everything out and make lists that you want to ask for and see what's going on with games you were already looking forward to.

It's just like how when you get to the last present on Christmas it's awful because once that present is unwrapped that's it (until Jan 1st but that's only a couple things)

So the day after E3 is always going to suck, even if you're doing stuff after it

Aaron Eckhart was great as Harvery Dent as well. The Dark Knight is the best super hero movie of all time, and that is no exageration. It made me realize how low my standards have been with movies like Spiderman 3, Transformers Pirates 3, Indiana Jones, and the other recent blockbusters.nakasa5

I saw The Dark Knight last...knight, and it was great. Heath was amazing, just as everyone had suggested. Obviously, if they want to keep this series of films going (With Cristian Bale), they're going to have to bring back the Joker.

So here's my question: Who's going to replace him? Any actors you can think of who can match him? I mean, after Nicholson's performance, I thought he couldn't be topped, but I was wrong. So, can Ledger be topped?

I don't know...I think the new Two-Face was pretty damn good. I'd like to see them expand on that story a bit (and clearly, they will). I don't think a sequel could top it, but it can be up there with it.

Besides, I'd rather see them work more on Batman than on Superman, personally.

Oh, and Watchmen!?! Thank you, God! It looks like it'll pretty much be a page-for-page copy of the novel.

They probably will make a sequel, but if it's without Christopher Nolan it won't be as good.

Oh my God, read the book. It's a graphic novel, made by the same guy who did V for Vendetta. I got to read it for my English course in college. Best course ever!

It's really amazing how much effort was put into the book. Little details in the artwork all over the place, including one chapter in which the first page mirrors the last one, the 2nd page matches the 2nd last page, and so on until the middle of the chapter. Lots of motifs, imagery...crazy stuff like that. Highly recommended.

I saw The Dark Knight last night. I agree. Freakin epic. It had at least three plot climaxes, which is practically unheard of for an action movie. The Joker is one of the best villains ever created for a movie. Sure, Ledger did an awesome job, but most of the genius of the character came straight from the script. There were a ton of little details that just fit with what the Joker would enjoy.

With all the psychological stuff in The Dark Knight, I'm hoping that the same writers are on board for a movie with the Riddler as the villain. They'd have a field day with him.

Anyway, did you guys have a favorite moment or scene?

[spoiler] The Joker's speech to Harvey in the hospital bed was mine. Pure genius. The Joker proved throughout the movie that he's the most organized and detailed crime plotter in the city, with the end goal of being able to call the city his own. But he straight up lied to Dent by saying he never had a plan and all of his actions are simply madness, and that the ones who have a plan are the ones who always fail. This lie created Two-Face's method of leaving everything to chance instead of his own judgment. All based on a lie. Pure genius, I tells ya. [/spoiler]

I see Dark Knight tonight. I went yesterday, but as expected, all showings were completely sold out. I bought tickets yesterday for today's showing. Then I'm going to show up AT LEAST an hour early and get into the theatre by then.

I did the same thing with Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. I got in early with my friends, got good seats, waited for about half hour, and when the movie started, the theatre was completely packed :o.

I'm excited to see Dark Knight. It looks intense.

I am fortunate to get to work at home a lot which is great. But today instead of report writing, I have to take all of these quizzes for training and development which is fine to take a break from the usual grind, but man... this is boring. At least I can come here for a break whenever I need to.

Just thought I'd share.

Oh, and since Dark Knight is the hot topic these days...I will not likely get to see Dark Knight until it comes out on video. My wife is 8 months pregnant and really wants to see the movie too but no way could she sit through a 2-plus hour movie. Oh well.
