One of the things I love about the old FF's and old Tales games for example is how you get stuck somewhere and you actually have to explore. You may aimlessly go to places you think are right but you end up being dead wrong. Sometimes you may even then stumble on the answer. But once you do no matter how you arrive to the answer, it feels so good. I'm in that position with Phantasia right now.

Yeah, speaking of the old FF's, I am part way through disc 2 in FFVII on PSN. I beat the game for the first time a few years ago and am still enjoying it as if I've never played it before. Once I get done with it I'm going to download FFVIII. I playted that a few years ago and got within an hour or so of the end of the game and my save data corrupted. I need to beat that game. People bash it but I really, really like it even with the goofy junction system. I love the sappy love story too.

I played a little bit of 9 then got side tracked. It is very traditional and people say it is one of the best stories of all the FF's. I plan on getting that eventually too. I've actually gone back and forth between which one I want to DL between 8 and 9. I think I'll go 8 first. The one I really want to play is 6. I've played a little bit of that too. I'm waiting for it to be available on the VC or somewhere else on the cheap. I know there are other ways to play them on the cheap but I've been trying to stay away from those ;) .

Okay. funny story.

So i am in university (first year), living on residence. And this morning i wake up and go to the bathroom (there are two bathrooms that are shared among four rooms, so between 8 people). Anyway i go in to relieve my self and there is a Shopping cart in the shower! I'm like wtf? someone probably had a really good night last night

I'm playing through Too Human because I love Silicon Knights for Eternal Darkness and thought I could forgive any deficiencies in Too Human because of how good the story should've been...... I can't. The gameplay is fun for the first five hours or so, then it gets ridiculously frustrating and REALLY repetitive. You walk down a huge corridor and meet four or five waves of 50+ enemies each time, turn a corner/go through a door, repeat. I trusted SK and they really let me down. The story is virtually non-existant. It's just a chore to finish at this point.

In other news relating to current or past avatars of mine, I watched Giant Bomb's quick look of the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood multiplayer beta, and it looks fun. I've been really skeptical, even after seeing gameplay footage, but seeing a real person playing against other real people in real time makes all the difference. I'm kind of excited for it now.

Is university more of a European term? Just like you use the metric system. That's just a guess, I really have no clue. Big weekend of "University" football here in Michigan. Michigan v. Michigan State. Both are 5-0 and ranked in the top 20. It's all the buzz here. Also, I'm going to the Lions game against St. Louis on Sunday. Hope to get the first win. It will be tough though.

My guess is that it's just like soda vs. pop.... We'll never know why there are regional differences, but there are. There's technical differences between the two, but at this point, they're pretty much interchangeable. My alma mater changed its name from College to University while I was there. Their reasoning was that they were growing and offered more programs, so a bigger institution should be called a university. Basically it was a PR move. So maybe Canada was like "HEY! Come here! We have bigger and better schools because we just call them all universities when we're speaking in general!"

there's certain qualifications (in the us at least) for a college to be able to have "university" in the name
