well... the Wings started the season off right. Howard gets a shutout, Madono scores a goal his first game, and fights galore! Thank god for hockey season starting. I'm already tired of hearing about football.

Although, I can't wait to watch UofM play State tomorrow. Any takers on that game?

Michigan is doing amazingly well in this game and I see them winning

Alabama is hurting bigtime, tall WR's seem to give that secondry fits

In other news I HATE 2K sports titles and yet NBA 2K11 is one of the best sports games I've ever played and is easily the best basketball game I've ever played. The Wade, LeBron, Bosh trio in Miami is a gamer's dream. Not only are all three nice guys and not thugs but the three of them in a game makes it superamazinfun!

Really all sports games are amazing. MLB the Show is the best sports game on the market and the best ever made. NBA 2K11 is amazing, FIFA is so fun to play, it's like they saw what the Wii did with PES and they upped the "traditional" controls so once again they're the best, NHL 11 is a great game and I need to pick it up over Black Friday. Madden and NCAA are wonderful and the best ever made.

This is just a great time to be a sports fan who also likes games

Only hockey in the street, not on ice though, actually what makes for the best street hockey is a tennis count that's got the net poles able to be removed, super smooth yet not ice surface.

Cold, not so much; wet, absolutely.

But yes I suppose it is a good amount of investment and effort. Worth it in my opinion though.

But then again we should all be playing broomball instead. Essentially it's ice hockey but with street hockey equipment.

I'm not home from university but I'll be heading to my spouses hometown, Walkerton (no I won't drink the water) for dinner with the inlaws tomorrow. The downside of that is that we won't have turkey leftovers so I might have to cook one myself. :) Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!!DDRMom

The Saturday deal is always a downloadable game and Sundays are for the Wii and other systems with few good games so weekends are a a miss but Mon-Fri are solid most times

LOL! I wish I could take credit. I just hope they didn't use all their mojo on one game!! It was really fun. To me the main difference is having Nate Burlison in there. He takes a lot of pressure off Calvin and they can spread things out more.

It'll be back to reality next week against the G-Men but you never know, that's a game and a half straight of good defense agains the Packers and Rams, maybe they are not the worst in the league anymore.

I don't think the Lions are the worst anymore, maybe not for the last year.

Suh is amazing and will only get better and being able to not have Calvin by himself is huge, I don't know why the front office is scared about WR's even after all the WR's that they drafted in recent years. If you have Calvin Johnson you need to protect him and today we saw the result of doing it.

I just don't want the Lions fans saying that Stafford wasn't in and so they don't need him, you know one person is going to make that argument

I'm doing physics homework right now and I could not be pulling answers out of my ass better than this. I have NO idea what the hell I'm doing. I'm making up my own equations from thin air. I'm combining like 12 equations into one uber equation. We're actually using calculus for these problems so I'm taking derivatives and integrals with respect to god knows what. And I keep winning. I've managed to get everything right so far with a bit of trail and error. My scratch work is a nightmare because its filled with all sorts of half-truths and lucky guessing. I'd go to office hours and tomorrow and do it right if I was available during them, but I'm not, so I will continue to guess. Problem solving skills. I have them.snowman6251
