I have the day off today and had some downtime after cleaning the bathrooms and replacing a few light switches in the house. I've been thinking about MLB Power Pros lately ever since seeing the videos for Pro Yakyuu Spirits Baseballwhich is essentially MLB Power Pros for the HD consoles in Japan, I really wanted to pick it up and play it. I bought MLB Power Pros 08 but only played it a handful of times because that's when the baby came.

So I played a game and was blown away. I forgot how AMAZING MLB power Pros was. And playing MLB 10 The Show for PS3 re-trained me how to bat. i was more pitch selective. Even though the pitching AI in Power pros is not as realistic as the show, I was more selective and after not playing for years, I won my game. What a fun game even with the out of date 08 roster.

If Pro Yakyuu Spirits Baseballcame out on PS3 in theUS with Major League Rosters I may seriously have to consider buying that instead of the next "The Show" title.

I got 100,000-something points before a huge ship sunk my battleship. :P

Whoever says Kirby's Epic Yarn is short is just blowing through the game. It took me 17.5 hours to get 100%. And it's not like I had to do a ton of extra work to get 100%.... Most of the levels took only one try to get everything. But each world has two optional levels and there are about 100 challenges to do. I really, really liked it.

Even though my Wii has not gotten as much play as it used to due to there not really being many games interesting me, I could NEVER sell it. Since Friday I have picked it up and played it as much as my PS3 though, I started playing Power Pros 08 again and also some VC games.

There's kind of a video game lull going on right now. Not much out there of interest. I still want to try Other M but Kirby and DKC do not interest me in the slightest. There are some RPGs that I would love to try include Arc Rise Fantasia, Dragon Age Origins, and Mass Effect 2 to name a few.

How do you know you won't want to replay games on it you've enjoyed in the past sometime down the road in the future?

And how do you know there won't be released a game you'll want to play in the future?
