Are there some violent bloody Move games that you would play? Because at this point, it seems kind of pointless to get the Move by selling your Wii since the Move is just a Wii Plus.

The Fight: Lights Out also looks to be one of the worst games in a long time.
I'm going to give this an extreme language warning, but this video pretty much completes my life.
Spoilers: It's pokemon related, and it's not the Pokemon Movie commentary video either.

Do any of you ever search for video game stores when you are in an area you don't normally go? I have this habit of when I am in a different area for my job or other travels, I will type in the word "game" or "video" in my GPS or I may just randomly google "video games, detroit area" to see if any rare or unknown game stores pop up.
I was in Highland Park today and googled videos games and it came up with one I had never heard of called gameheadz. Their website had prices for used games and they seemeda lot cheaper than gamestop or some other stores I pop into from time to time. There were some google reviews too and people said the same thing about low prices. One example was Final Fantasy 8 was only $7.99.
So I drove by to check it out and it was in a crappy part of town so I decided not to go in, but they have 3 other locations and 1 is near where I'm going tomorrow.
Anyone ever hear of this chain??
I finally got my mouse back so I've started playing TF2 again. I've been playing the scout a lot mostly because I have all his new items except the hat. I kind of suck with the scout but its all good because fish kills are hilarious.snowman6251lol the holy mackerel is awesome. i dont have it yet tho :(
Yeah, major bummer. He is an Icon in Detroit. You can't deny the Big Red Machine or the 1984 Tigers World Series win with the 35-5 start. And they just showed Kirk Gibson's homer in 84 that sealed the deal on the MLB Network. GoosebumpsWe lost a piece of Americana with Sparky Anderson's passing today

Kinect destroys the Wii and Move, now the Wii it's not a fair matchup because you're talking about current tech and then tech that was middle of the road in 2006 so ehhh, that's not fair
Sony's move on the other hand? Totally fair to compare it.
The Move still has the marionette feeling going on while Kinect doesn't.
I love the fact that I can do a ton of stuff just by talking, I have been on the comp talking to my 360 to change songs and play things and I don't even need to face the TV, sweet stuff
The other nice thing is that each OS revision makes all the games perform better, the ability to update things is really where the Wii shows it's age and where the Move and Kinect will be able to stay on the edge.
Kinect is great if all you're looking for is a new means of interacting with a menu. Interacting with a game on the thing seems incredibly awkward. There are hardly any games where the control scheme might actually make sense.Kinect destroys the Wii and Move, now the Wii it's not a fair matchup because you're talking about current tech and then tech that was middle of the road in 2006 so ehhh, that's not fair

No, most of the games have the motions control linked to the same motions you do.
If I'm going to try to amuse casuals I'm picking Kinect over Move (Wii is excluded because it's archaic tech)
I mean I played a ton of Joyride for a long time and for a casual it's perfect, for someone like me who tunes every car I drive in games it's too simplistic but when I want to play with a casual or a child that's the perfect kind of game.
So far I've played a ton of Joyride, Sports, and Adventures and they all worked well over the time that I've been playing them

download newer version of video driver. uninstall current version. install new version. if this doesnt work, its most likely a steam issue.

[QUOTE="snowman6251"]Just bought Amnesia: The Dark Decent based on Yahtzee's recommendation. Waiting for it to install now. The more I piss myself the better.Jaysonguy
Did you buy it on sale last week and are just getting to it?
It was on sale last week? Guess it makes sense with halloween. Wish I'd known that earlier.[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]I love Goldeneye. So fun.garrett_duffmanAgreed. I never thought goldeneye could get better. And I never thought this cheap cash-in would actually be good. Aside from the lack of graphical polish, it's a top notch game. Even the blatant CoD ripoffs don't feel like blatant CoD ripoffs because they're in such a different context.
I'm pretty excited to play through the campaign on higher difficulty levels because of the different objectives. That's one of the main things I've missed in FPS games since Timesplitters.... They don't really give you much of a reason to play through again, while the older Rare-styIe games offer a different experience for each difficulty because of the added objectives.
And multiplayer is fun. I still don't like the perks and stuff because it just makes good players better more quickly and gives them (us :)) an advantage they (we :)) don't really need, but I haven't noticed any significantly unfair things going on.
Oh man, you guys...am I going to have to get Goldeneye now? Because it really didn't interest me, but when both Haz and Jordan say it's good, I have to at least consider it.

i lol'ed at you saying the wii is archaic tech (because it pretty much is). and now that i think about it, i cant think of ANYthing the wii does better compared to its competitors. it used to have motion, but thats now done BETTER by both their competitors. sure it has games that the others dont, but thats not enough. especially since nintendo only makes sequels of its games. and when it gets ports of multiplats, they're watered down. and the wii may as well not have online, the friend code system is ATROCIOUS. imo it really has become a last gen system. nintendo needs to push out its next system. and FAST.It's really fun, plus the campaign is impressive. You know me too, I generally don't like FPS. Also the multiplayer -- all the modes are fun. My favourite so far is Heroes but I haven't tried Golden Gun, but Jordan says its fun as well. The only thing that's disappointing is no voice chat, but there are ways around that (i.e. Skype, AIM, etc). Also it's not a 'dedicate yourself' game like say COD, where if you just play once in a while people who play often have a big advantage over you because they play to much.Oh man, you guys...am I going to have to get Goldeneye now? Because it really didn't interest me, but when both Haz and Jordan say it's good, I have to at least consider it.
