I recomend "Dfend your castle", is very fun for a medium time but the good thing I that you can play up 4 players.
I thing I will buy "Pokemon Ranch" Y don´t know a lot but I thing it´s fun.

Ok so far ive went through Lost Winds and Toki Tori.
If You liked Lemmings or Lost vikings not just because of the characters but also for the puzzles, You are bound to love Toki Tori. Probably it wont reach the depth of Lost Vikings since You have one chick, not three with different abilities, but it's surely a great puzzler with 70 levels i heard.
Downsides may be that it offers only one wildcard to skip a level in case You get stuck, which can be retrieved by finishing it later on. The graphics arent too wild, but Tetris graphics aren't anything to write home about either so i doubt anyone will complain about those. The learning curve is a slow steady increase from real easy the first 5 levels to still a bit easy the next 10 and so on. It definitely gets challenging especially when playing through the hard variants so don't worry about it being (or staying) too easy.
If You are in doubt, get it.
Btw i still haven't got a good impression of FF:CC:MLAAK... People seem to have really mixed feelings. If You know that it isn't an rpg, or a full fledged simulator, will You probably enjoy the stand-alone 1500 point package or not?
KungfuKitten
If you enjoy games like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing, then you will definitely enjoy My Life As A King. Addictive repetition.
Star Soldier R-7.0 At Gamespot
I might get it sometime, it seems addictive enough, but I found this little part of the review funny.
"Although Star Soldier R would have been better served as an alternate mode in a full-fledged top-down shooter, it is still worth the 500 Wii points ($5) even with just two levels."
Last I checked it was $8, and when reading a review on a downloadable game the price is one of the biggest factors, you can't just let stuff like that slide into your reviews Gamespot.
OK everyone, I really like the concept of WIiWare, cheap games but with a great fun factor value. Yet, I'm not too thrilled with the lineup so far. Are there any games that are, MUST have? Or should I wait?remmbermytitansI think Lost Winds is must play imo. Instead of waiting around, why not take a shot at a game that appeals to you the most to get an impression of the potential of WiiWare?
[QUOTE="OblivionMist"]I am deciding between lost winds, Dr. Mario, or Pop and I can get two of them, which ones should i get?Jaysonguy
I have Dr Mario and I would have happily paid three times it's asking price.

Well remember I REALLY like the franchise lol
Plus I was probably the most excited about the game and it did not disappoint at all
I'm at my friends house as I'm typing this, and I just got Lost Winds here. I haven't played it, but he has and he's hating the crap out of it right now. I personally think he's just close minded to it, he's saying basicallly what gamespot does though. Its pretty ridiculous to me.
To Europeans: Has anyone tried Toki Tori? I'm really curious about that one.TargetDog
If you like puzzle games you should get Toki Tori, I've spent a bunch of hours on it and am just at the 4th environment now, and thats without completing about half of the "difficult" levels (you get ten levels per environment, plus 7 optional hard ones). Only 1 wildcard is a bummer though, although you can email the creators for hints, which is effectively the same thing. My only complaint is - from limited playing of it - the 4th environment is not a patch on the first 3, and I'm not sure if I can be bothered to complete it as its a hassle, rather than a joy. And some of the "hard" levels seem flat out impossible - you need to get an egg at the top of the screen, and aall the items you have won't get you there (at least it looks that way - it MUST be possible. Dammit)
Have a look on youtube to see if you like the look of it, or read (my) player review in gamespot. For £6.30 its a complete steal - although I would have liked to see a level editor.

Show him how to do it then, lol. Either it works or it doesn't.
Those are the two games that I own for WiiWare and it's a tough question.
I'd say go with both but if you can only pick one?
Hmmmm
Maybe go with Dr Mario because everyone likes a puzzler? The only reason I say that is because while I loved Final Fantasy some people were disappointed it wasn't what they were expecting.
do you guys reccomend dr. mario?
1.i loved the classics and i found them challenging. does the new wiiware one stick close to it?
2.does virus buster make the old dr mario formula feel refreshing?
3.how about wifi. it is like brawl where your forced to add people to get a decent game or is it like mario kart where its fun either way?
4.is there virus buster online?
thanks in advance.
I think Lost Winds is great and I think most people would agree. The only real complaint for me is it is kind of short (around three hours), but if you think about it, a 3 hour $10 game is equal to a 15 hour normal game which most people wouldn't be complaining about.
Hey guys, thinking of getting a WiiWare game. I'm planning on getting either My life as King or Dr. Mario but was wondering which one is the best? and why? Thanks for your help Kenny789I'd put my money on Dr. Mario because it is much cheaper and it has online so you'd get quite a bit oif replay value for 10$.

Yeah it would nice if someone with both games gave us their opinion. I'm sure someone has both, please help guys :)Anybody actually tried Critter Round-up? It looks like solid multiplayer fun but I haven't seen a single person mention that game. I'd love to try it but I'll probably end up with Dr. Mario instead.nethernova
Your avatar is extremely disturbing:|
I'm in complete agreeance with the above statement. I was confused and traumatized by that horrific avatar. OK phEW. Back on topic. I reccommend Dr. Mario because it has online competitive play. Or just wait a few days for Bomberman Wii which has online wi-fi and will be incredible.jewls555
You people don't like bunnies :-(
Bomberman Wii, any confirmed release dates for that? Only thing I heard is that it will be out in Japan in June. I'd trade my grandmother for it. But I'm still interested in Critter Round-Up until some strange internet people I don't know tell me that it's like the worst game ever. No opinions on it?
@nethernova: I hate bunnies and rabbits this includes Bugs Bunnie. I especially don't like your pink demented pregnant bunny.jewls555
Pregnant? What are you seeing there?
Anyway, thanks for mentioning that website. www.wiiware-world.com it is. I got a closer look at some of the games. Never heard of "Pop" for example. I guess I will indeed wait for Bomberman after all.
what do you see inside the pink beast? huh?
Np about the website. I agree it's a great source for people who want to learn more about wii ware games. It offers interviews, reviews, previews, updates, news, etc. Everything wii ware. vc-reviews.com is also really good. IGN is good with keeping up with the games released and reviewing them (non-wiiware). I also like Gamespot because of it's forums and their previews are extensive and insightful.
