I second that it's awesome. I think it has about 70 levels total - 40 regular levels and 28 hard levels (I believe). And they do make you think. I'm only halfway through it, and I've only played two of the hard levels since I'm saving them for last.
It reminds me of Adventures of Lolo for the NES, which is amazing. It's a fun game to pick up and play for maybe 10-15 minutes to play a level or two when you need a break from something. Don't try to play through the whole game in one sitting, or it won't be worth your money. Use it as filler from your regular, every-day schedule and it will be well worth it.
So I'm not the only one that saw the similarities, lol. If anyone liked Lolo, I don't see why they wouldn't like Toki ToriIt reminds me of Adventures of Lolo for the NES

that game looks like something you can play on your computer on some free game website like miniclip... except without moving a remote up and down... and dr mario also looks like a tetris game... Woohoo. I bet if it wasn't called dr mario it wouldn't have gotten half the sales it did.
didn't someone else just go over this Dr. Mario is a PUZZLE GAME it has absolutely no resemblance to tetris excluding the genre. Yes maybe some kid bought the game because Mario was in the title but despite the idiodts that did that; the hardcore gamers know that Dr. Mario is a great puzzle game it is addictive and all of its modes are fun to play which tetris can't claim. What you said about defend your castle made it seem like it was 10 dollars instead of 5. For 5 dollars you definitely get your money's worth. Now how about you take your flaming somewhere where it is appreciated.dude... don't get mad at me for sharing my opinion... It's just a video game JEEZ :P
I recommend Dr.Mario Rx to anyone up to some addictive puzzle action!Nintend0-BuDDy
OFF-TOPIC: OMG your avatar made me lol. I was listenin to Beat It remade by fallout Boy and they were exactly with the beat lol.
Anyways, when does Animales de la Muerta come out? It looks really fun and funny. And how is Gyrostar. Has anyone played it yet? *Answer that tomorrow, didn't realize it wasn't out lol.*
End of the summer I believeAnyways, when does Animales de la Muerta come out?

What's the deal with Strongbad's Cool Game?Crows55What do you mean? It is a point and click adventure that will be released in episodic content starting in July
user feedback is what saved me from buying FFCR:My life as kingDurhamster
You missed out then, one of the best games on the Wii
I'm interested in Gyrostar too, since the devs already released one unfinished game on the service trying to cash in on their name recognition I'm waiting until I hear feedback on this one.

Thats too bad, I've already clocked in about 15 hours in that game. I'd highly recommend it.

The game is better then their first attempt, but it feels like a name cash in as well.
First off it just isn't addictive, and for a game like that it HAS to be addictive to have any use at all. It really felt like pulling teeth to push through 30 levels of the game, the tracks are generic the music is generic, the enemies are generic(theres about 5 so far) the bonus levels are terrible.
It is long enough, and if you want to push through it will take you a while. The multiplayer is a little more fun then the single player, so if you have people to play with it is better.
What really set me off though is that the games save system is broken. I got to level 30, made sure I was able to go back and play any level I wanted, and turned off the system. Now that I return my high scores and my level movement are gone. I played up to level 9 again and turned off the system. This time it worked and I can continue playing from level 9. The chances that I ever bother to continue, especially during single player are slim though, for the fear that it will be deleted once again.
I can't really reccommend this to anyone except those desperate to play something from High Voltage.
Hi everyone, I'm going to buy this game today, but before I do, I have a few questions
1. When you buy archers, do the archers actually shoot arrows at the bad guys that attack your castle? And do the archers' shots kill the bad guys with one hit? Because I've watched videos of defend your castle and I havent seen any arrows being shot into the air.
2. For the magic stuff, like the eraser or the explosion, do you have a limit to the number of times you explode or erase bad guys? If I do have a limited number, how do I get lots of magic so I won't run out of the eraser or explosion very fast?
3. If you get game over, do you have to start from the beginning? Do you lose any points?
4. When you use the eraser, does it only erase one bad guy at a time?
5. Do you choose when you can use the magic items, and other things, or do they all let you use them at random times?
6. Do you ever lose your archers, mages, etc. after a while, or do they stay there level after level. Can they die?
Thanks so much!!
how do u guys think about pokemon ranch???bugbite250
If you have Diamond or Pearl it's a must have game
New Pokemon every day. Ability to trade for exclusive and rare Pokemon, and just the whole ant farm direction the game has
It's a terrific game, well worth the 1000 points

[QUOTE="bball_freak_2"][QUOTE="Kenny789"]Hey guys, thinking of getting a WiiWare game. I'm planning on getting either My life as King or Dr. Mario but was wondering which one is the best? and why? Thanks for your help Kenny789
im in the exact same boat is you, help would be appreciated :)
Yeah it would nice if someone with both games gave us their opinion. I'm sure someone has both, please help guys :) i bought both and they're both fun. Dr. Mario is great with online play and the virus buster is really fun especially with co-op. My Life as King is a great game but it gets a little repetitive and you have to pay for DLC to add more variety to the game. It's still great though. It really depends what game you want. My Life of King is a long game and takes time to complete. I recommend Dr. Mario if you have enough wii points, and if you have extra wii points and you're still interested in My Life as King, you should buy it another time.i say pokemon ranch i just got it its pretty cool but they still dont have alot of features like no walk lol but yea it kinda cool to see pokemon act as if they werein the wild and it cool u can put up to 5 mii's in you ranch and take pics to share with ur friends i recommend it =Dstevensp
My friend bought that but doesn't own pokemon Diamond and Peral so now he's pissed cuz he wasted 1000 wii points lol.

Well he'll get a new Pokemon every single day so I mean it'll just take a while to get a farm up and running
It does teach everyone the lesson to read before you buy though
how is Star Soldier R and Gyrostarr? which one would you recommend?
Jayesler12
Star Soldier R is still the best shooter on WiiWare right now. It only has 2 stages, but the game play is flawless and very addicting. If you're into trying to top your best score by playing the same game over and over again then it's a definite buy.
Gyrostarr, while a realy good concept, jsut doesn't deliver. It's decent, but not great. Actually, after playing about 10 levels (about 15-20 mins of game play) right when I first downlaoded it, I got kinda bored and cut it off. My nephew and I play it every once in a while to knock out a couple of levels. I probably won't really play it again after I hit the top levels.
Star Soldier R, however, I still play atleast 2-3 times a week. It's especially good for those moments when you jsut feel like you want to play something, but don't have much time. It really is an underrated game. Out of all the WiiWare games I've gotten so far, this is the only one I feel I have gotten more game time than the price warranted.
Hey everyone, I just got 1000 Wii Points and would like to download a WiiWare title, but I'm not sure if I should get Dr.Mario, Lost Winds or Toki Tori. I'm am leaning towards Lost Winds, but I am thinking Dr.Mairo and Toki Tori would last me longer, especially with Dr.Mario's online play.
Thanks in advance.
