How to Love is... interesting. Don't know if I like it, but I certainly don't dislike it. Was better than I thought it would be from what I heard it was like. I'm looking forward to C4, Wayne's singles are never the best songs on his albums, not even close. Dr. Carter, Shoot Me Down, BM JR, This Is the Carter, Get Down, among others off C1 and C3, and tons of songs off C2 were pleasant surprises so I expect C4 to have plenty of gems.
I liked 6 foot 7, and John was alright so that's two songs I know I will be solid on there. How to Love is growing on me too.Â
[QUOTE="kobegill"]Why would it? Its Kelly's song...Ryder004
just a thought, because i perosnally only listen to weezy part and he has had songs in the past where he only gets on for a min and its on his album
No he doesn't lol... Shooter is the closest to that and he had 2 verses on it. Unless I'm not thinking of some other ones... Â

Nope.. you're probably thinking of You Ain't Got Nuthin, because the first like 4 minutes is Fab and Juelz Santana and Weezy is only on the hook. He has a verse at the end though. Â
It won't sell as much as C3. I liked 6 foot 7 foot, but John is kinda weak, and How to Love is just awful. I don't think any of his singles have made a huge impact on the charts?djwestwood
6 foot 7 did pretty well on the charts, wasn't huge though. But it's getting a lot of radio play.
Wayne doesn't need a big single for this to sell well. People are going to flock to it regardless. It won't sell like C3, but no Wayne album will ever sell THAT well again, most likely. He could have released just 6 foot 7 and had this sell 300,000-400,000 in the first week. I think he's pushing it back to make it better... How to Love simply isn't something I see being on C4, so maybe he is cutting tracks, adding new ones, etc...

He does need a single that will be just as big as "A Millie". That's why they pushed it back again. "How To Love" should solidify it especially in the pop charts.
Poppin Or Floppin: Lil Wayne - Nightmares Of The Bottom
Lil Wayne premiered a new track off, "Tha Carter IV," entitled, "Nightmares Of The Bottom," on MTV Unplugged.

New single 'Dear anne (Stan Pt. 2) is on hypem and other sites. I can't find a totally legal thing to post here so I'll hold out haha. (I've been on final warning for a year now)
Can't believe they went through this with though...Wayne doing a sequel to one of the best songs in Hip Hop history. It's not great and it's too slow. Why is this album so slow? Where's the music to get me pumped up and partying. Mrs. Officer, Lollipop, A Milli, 3Peat, Comfortable, etc. that's what made Tha Carter III my ****. All I'm getting from this Carter IV that I'm feeling is a Rick Ross remix and 6'7"...
I think Dear Anne's not going to be on the album, I saw that somewhere anyway.
I agree with everything Toriko said though. TCIII wasn't my favorite album as a whole but there were a bunch of fun/catchy songs on it...I'm not feeling anything I've heard from TC4 yet.Â
He needs another "Lollipop"...that was the perfect mix of crossover pop, and dope, epic party track. C3 didn't sell because of A Millie...C3 sold because "Lollipop is the perfect single, and one of the best of last decade.Colt45fool
lollipop was an awful, awful song. I hated it. The only good thing that came from that was JJ's cover. Mrs. Officer was my ish though.

to you, but to everyone else that song mega grew..
i remember hearing for the first time on the radio and withing a week it was the #1 played song.
Â
i was never a fan, as far as c3 went my favorite tracks were 3 peat and mr carter..
Lollipop was DOPE. Still gets me going in the club. Ultimate song for that. Mrs. Officer is still a song I have on repeat though. Most of TC III is save for the songs like Tie My Hands and similar material Toriko42WORD.
If you were 18 or older when Lollipop came out, you have a special connection to that song. And when that song comes on in the club it is PERFECT EVERY TIME. I wish the clubs at UConn played it more.Â

remind me to make very sick names of my songs of i ever become a rapper

If you see a tracklist with guest spots from rappers that you like, there's a good chance that you're gonna look forward to that album/those songs...
Â
Anyway.... She Will is pretty good. The beat is the best part though lol. Kinda wish Drake actually rapped, but whatever. Could have been better but I like it. He should've dropped this when he dropped 6 foot 7 and 6 foot 7 now instead imo. 6 foot 7 was just more impressive than this...Â
