Penny Hardaway may come back to the NBA to join the Heat

"I didn't get a chance to finish my career the way I wanted," Hardaway said on the show.

"But when the decision happened with Chris Bosh and LeBron, I felt like I could really be good in that system."

If Penny wants to get a ring he should do it as some type of assistant coach (like Patrick Ewing in Orlando). He clearly can't play anymore which is why he retired in the first place. He can still bring a lot of leadership and advice from the sidelines in that position. As much as I like Penny, I don't really like the idea of him playing 2 minutes a night just so he can finally get a ring. He can do better than that.

I want AI to go to the Heat and kinda play the role Nate played in Boston (spark when needed, but mostly a bench warmer). And ain't Penny super old?fat_rob

Word, dude could easily have won more titles if he didn't get fat and improved his free throws and gave a **** about defense. But, he's lazy. It's weird to say this but he's an underachiever. He had a chance to be the best big man ever. He's not close.
