Hold on to him until they find a better option. There were talks of sending Marion for a high 1st rounder, and an expiring contract...I think that would have been a lot more beneficial...I think Marion could have been worth a top 10 draft pick..maybe even two 1st round picks, and some ****ty player's contract....like I said the Heat got out like bandits in that deal..not only have you become a worse basketball team, but you've gotten older, and slower....that trade was just stupid.

I think dumping him for a different, younger center would have been ideal...idk if the cap numbers fit, but looking into a move for David Lee, Andris Biedrin, Sam Dalembert, Andrew Bynum, etc. would've been a lot better than getting Shaq..

But the Suns were a better basketball team without Shaq.

-Halftime-

ya i agree, they were the lightning scoring offense with no defense. at least now they have some defense. if they can somehow get chris bosh next offseason and keep Amare and draft a good Guard than i think Suns will be a championship team

doesn't matter...when was Marion's contract supposed to be up? At the end of last season?

They were talking about trading him after the '07 season for a lottery pick, and an expiring...if they were getting deals then, and they knew he wanted out, they should have acted on them. They could have ended up with Spencer Hawes, Brandon Wright, Al Thornton, Al Horford....all of those would be better options than Shaq...and then all they'd have to worry about for the future is how they're going to replace Steve Nash.

Al Jefferson out for the year :(

Injuries are killin my fantasy team now even though I am 12-1 in my league... Gerald Wallace out with a broken rib/collapsed lung, Tyson Chandler out for like a month with a bad ankle, Gilbert Arenas just chillin on my bench, and now Big Al who was my best player done for the year :(

it's a 20 team league so Sessions was actually drafted. There's nothing but garbage left on waivers... Joey Graham, Javale Mcghee, etc.

i honestly dont know wtf the nba was thinking when they picked those 3. I could understand if they had to choose folks that were already gonna be in Phoenix but seriously. Also WHY THE **** did Stern choose Mo Williams to replace Bosh instead of replacing Bosh with david lee or Okafor. THe East is gonna get legally raped

Yeah, I ended up picking up him and McGhee. Graham had 24 pts 6 reb 2 asts 2stls 3 blks and McGhee put up 18 pts 11 reb 2 blks tonight. I don't expect Graham to keep it up because he's just getting more PT since Bosh is out, but I'll ride it out at least.

I wonder what Dwight has planned for the dunk contest. Since it happens to fall on Valentine's Day I wouldn't be suprised to see him kiss the rim and dunk...

I still think Rudy Gay is the best natural dunker in the contest, dunno if he'll be creative enough to win though...

there is no creativity in his dunks its just sad gimmicks that got him the win last year the dunk contest has gotten worse since the Jason Richardson and Mason dunk off

Right... touching the top of the backboard while catching an alley oop is something we've all seen before. Same with tapping a pass off the glass and catching it in the air:roll: Don't be mad Dwight can actually sell his dunks, unlike most competitors.

i'd rather have dwight howard in the dunk contest then guys like Nate Robinson who take 30+ dunk attempts just to get a dunk off. i'd also rather have Dwight Howard because of his creativity.  Rudy Gay is an excellent dunker but he's not really creative and judges also factor in creativity into the dunk. How many in between the leg dunks are we going to see? gets pretty boring after you've seen it numerous times in dunk contest.

Gerald Green owned Dwight last year but i guess putting on a superman cape and not even touching the rim is a winner in this pathetic dunk contest(and yes i know that is still considered a dunk) and that pass off the glass move was done beter by AI

Rudy vs. Dwight shoulda been the finals...

Nate's dunk over Dwight was sick, but that one where he jumped over Wilson Chandler's back is so easy... I've been able to do that since like 8th grade :|

****ing bull****.

First Rudy gets robbed, THEN Dwight gets robbed. I swear these things are fixed. I remember back in '06, Igoudala should of easily won but yet again the POS that is Nate Robinson prevails. **** the dunk contest, no one will ever get close to Vince Carter and Jason Richardson.

And wtf is it with Kenny and all those douchebags riding on Lebron so much? Do they have a crush on him? I bet if Lebron was in the dunk contest he would do his silly little one handed Tomahawk. **** the dunk contest.

Lebron is gonna be siiiiiick8)

btw, here's Lebron doing the same dunk Rudy Fernandez did on his first attempt except Bron does it like a million times better....

Lebron behind the back off the glass

The little tomahawk, my point exactly.

alley oop between the legs, exactly my point. I'm sure Lebron can windmill from the FT line too a la James White, be nice to see him try it since no one has done it in the NBA contest yet.
