1. If God created everything, who created GOD?

Answer: God created time, thus the beginning does not apply to him, because he created it.

2. If the earth is only 10,000 years old, explain starlight and how it takes billions of years to reach earth

Answer: God created that light in transit.

3. Why is the Old testament God so evil? (I.E why did he maul 42 children with bears?)

You must remember that My god...OUR god is a kind and wonderful God. And like us, our God is a jealous God. He also is a forgiving God. He saw the error of his ways and gladly changed. And those children deserved their wrath. God warned them and they disobeyed God. And so God sent his wrath upon the wicked.

He didn't abandon us, he said we have FREE WILL (watch Bruce Almighty for a good example). If we are going to s***, it's our fault.

[QUOTE="FelipeInside"]^^ I don't believe ANYTHING is perfect in the Universe. God is a very superior being/entity to us humans, and maybe the highest entity but that doesn't make him perfect. There are imperfections in the human race, as well as the planets and galaxies. Maybe it's like the Matrix, he/it keeps trying and gets it a bit right each time???

Thats your theory? May I ask about the imperfections in planets/galaxies...what are they?

^^ I'm not saying the Universe is falling apart. But there are just some things. Saying that, the Universe is a pretty complex machine that works awesome so I don't agree with people saying it just appeared out of nowhere and just created itself and functions like this randomly.

Uh.. The first point can be argued that if your reasoning is god is infinite.. Why can't the universe be infinite? Afterall we can see the universe we liv ein it, we know it exists.. So wouldn't it be more rational if we must make a leap of faith in defining a infinite quality in something we can see and knows exist? The second doesn't even apply to all Christians, and many Christians disagree with the notion of that.. As for the third one that raises more questions and concerns instead of answer them.. Why did god change their mind? Isn't god all powerful, meaning they are outside of time, they know all.. Why would god need to change their mind when they in fact know everything including what would happen in all its possibilities? That would denote imperfection to something thats supposedly perfect..

... Where is it said it appeared out of no where? People seem not to understand Big Bang Theory, it only talks about its early point event in which formed the matter which already existed into its current form.. Outside of that no one suggests that something came from nothing or other such things.. And it doesn't function randomly as you say.. There are very specific set laws in which matter and reality in general has to abide by... If we do look at the universe as closely as singling out a single planet.. Yes it would appear that its random.. But if we look at the grand scheeme of things.. We will notice there are certain rule and patterns in things like the formation of solar systems, and galaxies..

Yes exactly. Like I said the Universe is a very complex machine (I never said it functions randomly, read my post correctly please), therefore I believe there is something controlling this machine, or at least has created it and designed it to control itself.

he means the very basis of every religion man has created is constructed on the suspense of all logic. Trying to apply logic to it results in going in circles.

[QUOTE="chaoscougar1"][QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="chaoscougar1"] Well if there a multiple universes And God doesn't mess with free will How else can you explain you being in this universe at this particular time?

He put us here and gave us free will ??? I thought that part was clear ???

So he individually chooses every person that is ever born? How can God "put us here"?

Well, something created us didn't it? You can go to the evolution theory, but something created the first creature didn't they? I don't know how much God has to do with choosing every person that is ever born, I'll let you know when I die and ask him ;)

[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="curono"] Religion is not to be reasoned or debated. It is a dogmatic part of a being. Dogmatic as you only believe. Logical implies reasoning. It is pretty much a paradox.wis3boi
So cause someone is Religious and they came to that belief cause of logical means you say is INVALID?

Well, I don't know if I agree with that. I understand some religious people are crazy and think the Bible is the start and end of everything and that everything in it is pure truth. I was raised as a Catholic....but my belief in a God comes from my own logical way of thinking. (or has developed from that)

Chemical reactions in Earth's early stages spawned single celled organisms that lived and fed off of heat vents under water about 3.5 billion years ago. It all springs from that.

Who created the Earth and chemicals ;)
