I'm actually willing to guess that most Americans feel or sense, whatever you wanna call it, that something if fishy either about the events of 9/11 or previous catastrophes, but maybe they're afraid of what they may come across, and so they just go with what the daily news media machine tells em. At this point, I'm just speculating tho....

The thing that get's to me is, what or how would these terrorist organizations have had benefitted if infact they were the real perpetrators? As far as my understanding goes, the alleged perpetrators have lost everything they had before due to the supposed fact that at one point in time, Al Qaeda(sp?) - Osama bin Laden etc., were once assets of the CIA and/or other various agencies of the US. The one's that did benefit a GREAT deal IMO would be the one's who actually had financial & political motivation.

I'd go further, but I doubt my post will taken seriously or into consideration for that matter. Also, I came across a video that pretty much explains very nicely what I'm attempting to go into, but I sometimes refrain from posting the link because then ppl will say that only after I saw that video, did I think the way I am describing my view point on all of this.
