what? I don't see any corralation with that and the argument that Fox News is trying to push an agenda AT ALL!
All headlines tend to be misleading and sensational, no matter who they are from, the left or the right.
Yet one can't help but notice that that sort of thing happens a lot more from Fox News. Really makes me wish we lived in a world where journalism actually meant something. All headlines tend to be misleading and sensational, no matter who they are from, the left or the right.

I don't know...judging from the link (and past experience) it really seems like Fox is sensationalizing headlines a lot more than "actual" news headlines are.
This is true. The difference is one agrees with the headlines when they agree with the politics. All headlines tend to be misleading and sensational, no matter who they are from, the left or the right.

Actual headline: Obama launches attack on spam sent to peoples emails.
Fox headline: Obama launches attack on spam being sold in Walmart.
actual headline: beware nigerian prince scam
fox headline: obama sends out mass emails

Oh god
Faux News I find it amazing how much the people at Fox still don't know why they get so much hate directed at them.ZumaJones07I checked Fox News' site and searched for some of those headlines and they didn't show up. So perhaps the link is not showing real fox headlines but is making it up.

This thread is funny. An actual news headline is one that is used by a news service. Whatever the political spin one puts on their headline...it's still a headline.LJS9502_basicSemantics...

Strange nothing showed up for me when I searched those two headlines. I'm guessing they didn't show up because they weren't on the main fox news site, but on the FOX Nation subsite.

I used Google to search for the verbatim headlines; don't know if they break their stuff out like that or maybe if they just have delays in getting items indexed[QUOTE="whipassmt"][QUOTE="xaos"] As a start: Obama Bureaucrats Imposing Radical Homosexual Sensitivity TrainingThe Left Launches Attach on Bachmann's Husbandxaos

Sometime's internal searches can be tricky.those remind me of the Daily Show a couple nights ago where Jon Stewart went over several of Fox New's biggest lies whic are rated by the completely and seriously unbiased source politifacts.com. They had the 2009 and 2010 lies of the year lol...if only people knew that fox news is entertainment television and not news.
I wouldn't characterize all of Fox like that. Fox Connecticut seems to be mostly matter of fact.those remind me of the Daily Show a couple nights ago where Jon Stewart went over several of Fox New's biggest lies whic are rated by the completely and seriously unbiased source politifacts.com. So what, it's just like how CNN and MSNBC put a liberal spin on all their stuff. (I don't even want to hear that they don't.)
They don't. They're not an unbiased source of news. I've yet to find any site that does that.So what, it's just like how CNN and MSNBC put a liberal spin on all their stuff. (I don't even want to hear that they don't.)

They certainly aren't unbiased, but they aren't biased like how Fox News is biased.[QUOTE="CHOASXIII"]They don't. why would you? That would mean that one of Fox New's overall messages about how everyone, but Fox News is part of the "Liberal Media" would be incorrect. If that was not the case perhaps you could trust other new sources and Fox would lose viewers. So what, it's just like how CNN and MSNBC put a liberal spin on all their stuff. [QUOTE="sonicare"][QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"] They don't.-Sun_Tzu-They're not an unbiased source of news. I've yet to find any site that does that. They certainly aren't unbiased, but they aren't biased like how Fox News is biased. You mean like Dan Rather making up that story? That's pretty bad when you anchorman flat out lies. Fox is comically biased. I dont think anyone can defend how bad they are, but many other stations certainly have their problems.

What Dan Rather did isn't so much bias as it is just flat-out s***ty reporting. What I mean is that at Fox News, the conservative bias is very well coordinated and systemic, compared to - say - MSNBC, who just stock-up their prime-time programming with liberal opinion shows.
This is why Fox News is so successful. Some of those headlines are so ridiculous sounding that I actual want to read them.
Well, after reading those headlines, I must say the fox news ones were much more potent in attracting my attention.SetsaAnd that's the point, nothing more. But places full of liberals, like OT, blow it out of proportion and just prove what everyone says about the media right.

[QUOTE="BMD004"]that was my favourite too  Yeah same here! :P"Obama has a big problem with white women".
LMAO.
